It was horrifying that Trump shamelessly advocated that, but I don't think it was ever enacted.

Direct targeting on their own... no, I don't think that's happened.

Concern over "collateral damage" though?
I don't have numbers to hand, but I heard last week that civilian casualties are way up.
That's no way to win hearts and minds... but we know that's not his intention anyway.

Therefore who is more dangerous?

Don/'t get this twisted.

Bush knew his limits. He knew to surround himself with better self folks - even if he didn't know who exactly those people were.

Toupee Fiasco has no such sense.

Trump is worse but I do understand if one only went by outcome, a lot of what Trump is doing can be reversed without as much damage as the Iraq war. On the other hand we have no idea how bad Trump can make things before he's ousted (and I do believe he will be ousted, he's that bad).

But Bush surrounded himself with Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, all very bad actors. Mind you I voted trump, I just don't think we can downplay the damage done by that needless Iraq war.

Trump has openly supported and campaigned on reintroducing torture simply because they deserved to be tortured. There's plenty of time left of his presidency to fulfill that election promise and then some.

When Trump gets around to it, I will update my opinion. So far, it's a comparison between a killer and a fool. I will prefer the fool, no matter how cool and suave the killer may be.

So far, Bush. Major, lengthy, unnecessary war is worse than the crap Trump's pulled. Trump has plenty of time to take the crown, though. I do think that he's a worse human being than Bush.

You do make a assumption there re: human being!!!:jaw-dropp

Hitlery Clinton

No such person was ever president - and, if you refer to Hillary Clinton and accidentally misspelled her name, she is worth far more than all four of the most recent republicker slimes that were president -and each of whom helped work to destroy America in varied ways.

NOT counting first Bush there!!!!! He fell a lot but was not working for evil!!!!

Sorry, voted Bush by mistake... :o

I was thinking that a few years ago I did not believe there could once be a worse President than Bush and then I ticked Bush instead of Trump....

Based on their actions as president who would you say was the worst between our 2 most recent republican presidents?

As much as I dislike Trump, so far he has largely been an embarrassing wind bag. While Bush, Jr murdered tens of thousands, instituted torture, wrecked the national economy, and quite a few other destructive things in order to get on good terms with his father.

Give Trump some time! The war in Afghanistan didn't start until October 2001 and Iraq took years. Bush certainly didn't help us avoid the great recession, but the deregulation that set it in motion was before his term.

Meanwhile, Trump is daring North korea to start a fricking Nuclear War. He promises to dismantle the ACA, promises a new regressive tax structure, has a foreign policy of alienating our allies and handing over global influence to China and Russia, setting back climate action...

He's also pushed the "Us vs Them" dynamic of US politics into insane overdrive. The majority of his followers value his ability to piss off the left more than any delusion that he's actually competent. He didn't start that, but he has pushed it and legitimized it and set a new low bar that frames the entirety of governing going forward.

He's only been President 218 days. And although the ways he's hurt us so far have been smaller than what happened under Bush, he's bound to get his way on a few of these issues unless he's impeached.

Some of you simply don't seem to comprehend the danger we're in because of Trump.

His incompetence has been a net positive thus far, but he is undermining key provisions and principles of our entire society, including an independent media, justice, thoughtfulness, the rule-of-goddamn-law, international diplomacy and simple *********** civility.

We elected the biggest mouthed douche from the trailer park, and now all of the other mouth breathers have been emboldened. Woohoo.

I so long for the days when adults on different sides of the aisle will argue about vouchers, tax policy and immigration again, because nobody is spending time clarifying remarks made about racists or pardoning them.

The question is a little vague, so I didn't vote. In terms of quantifiable damage directly caused by bad policy, GWB was the worst President we have ever had, hands down.

On the other hand, DJT is a shockingly pathetic human being and the most obviously unfit President we have ever had. The damage he has done so far is substantial, but it's hard to quantify. So far.
