Based on their actions as president who would you say was the worst between our 2 most recent republican presidents?

No contest: Bush.

Ordering torture, starting wars...

Trump is mostly talk, so far.

Yeah, give him time!

I certainly agree that Bush did more damage than Trump has. The invasion of Iraq brought a chain of utterly disastrous consequences. I don't think Trump has done anything that destabilizing yet.

To the extent people think of them as villains, I prefer my nemesis as doctor doom rather than Blastaar. I prefer to go up against a villain WTH a developed ethos.

So far, Bush. Major, lengthy, unnecessary war is worse than the crap Trump's pulled. Trump has plenty of time to take the crown, though. I do think that he's a worse human being than Bush.

Really? Trump's stance and actions on Climate Change has the potential to devastate the planet, cause mass extinctions, wars, and flood vast areas of the current land mass, not to mention the stripping away of major pollution regulations that means companies can dump large amounts of toxic chemicals into the US's water ways, as well as the removal of many protections on endangered species in the US.

If Trump gets to have 8 years in charge, then the long term damage to the planet's climate and ecosystems will out weigh anything Bush did.

Trump has openly supported and campaigned on reintroducing torture simply because they deserved to be tortured. There's plenty of time left of his presidency to fulfill that election promise and then some.

Hard to say as of yet. I suspect Bush will prove to have been far more effective at promoting his destructive and puerile agenda.

It's doubtless a problem, but Bush was really lousy on climate change as well. Also, state and city governments have significant ability to mitigate the damage from bad federal environmental policy. They can't really do that with wars.

What about the committing of War Crimes by the deliberate targeting of families of terrorists?

I have never agreed with Jefferson once
We have fought on like seventy-five diff’rent fronts
But when all is said and all is done
Jefferson has beliefs. Burr has none.
