I'm going. But nobody know who I am. Oh wait, last year I was the one who went on stage at the Penn & Teller show, signed the bullet, and donated it to be auctioned off for the JREF.
Now do you know who I am? Oh, well I didn't think so.

Jeff, a "girl" is a member of the opposite sex, and "kissing" is an activity designed to . . . ah, you know, it's really too much to go into right now. Scrut, it's rude to make jokes that people won't understand.

I've seen that bullet trick live and I thought they just used plants in the audience. Hmmm...are you a plant?

Anyway, I'm starting to freak out just a little bit with TAM coming up. I'm going all by my lonesome and it would really suck to be an outcast or something cuz then what do I fall back on? Well hopefully I can crash the forum party or something.

Please don't freak out! Really, we are the friendliest group of people you will ever hang out with!

You are more than welcome to all of the functions outside of the conference (except for the Skepchick PJ party, of course).

The Thursday night reception is a great gathering place for all of us to start off the conference with.

Worse comes to worse, you can always hang out with me and I'll drag you around to meet everyone. :D

I'm an outcast in most social situations, but I found that this group and CSICOP as well are pretty receptive to folks spontaneously joining their table at breakfast and so forth.

Many folks there will be traveling alone, so instead
of being a loner, why not try to make someone else feel welcome? It seems to help me come out of my shell anyway.
 
Yeah merv, I'll be their alone too and need a drinking buddy. :alc: Its a little unnerving but everyone here on the forums has been really cool so far, Im sure it will be a blast.
 
Merv and Hutty. As someone who has attended both previous TAMs, met, dined with, shared hotel rooms with and exposed his privates during a PalTalk free video night to other forum members -- and yet still will be shy and semi-reclusive at TAM III... just see someone who has posted their photo you recognize and introduce yourself via your user ID.

Use the reception Thursday to your advantage. My offer for a guys anti-PJ party get together still stands as just a time for us to hang out and socialize.
