HOW, you ask??? Actually, I hadn't dedicated a single thought to it. I'm so into my work, I can't hardly keep up with my laundry, let alone a trip.

But then Kitty says - hey, Pool Boy has these frequent flyers miles, and he has to use them up these week, what dates would you choose for a flight to Vegas?

So earlier in the day Pool Boy emailed me with the full flight info! I'll be arriving on my birthday!

Who else is going? I feel like a TAM veteran by now, almost like a host - can I help you, sir?

Seriously, the line-up of speakers is always good, but if we'll have a full Julia Sweeny show, get ready to laugh until you burst. Shermer makes time flies. Most speakers are thought-provoking, so I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

Jan. 12th, one day prior to the conference. I'm not a birthday party person, really, but if that's the excuse we need to party, so why not? :D

I haven't had a party since I was 12. I'll just be happy not to do schoolwork!

I'm currently planning on going, unless something comes up. There's a possibility I may have military commitments, but that's unlikely right now.

Speaking of TAM, though, I'm considering a project related to it (although I'm not sure at the moment if it will be possible). I don't want to say much about what I'm planning, but PM me if you're interested in helping.

Unfortunately I can't make it in 2005. :( An illness in the family has meant that I've had to miss too much work over the last few months (I work for myself, so I don't get paid if I don't work). When I found out that Qantas couldn't get me into a frequent flier seat unless I booked five months ago (!), I lost a bit of enthusiasm. It's a long way and a lot of dollars from here to there.

Still, you will all be in Sydney in November for either or both of the Australian Skeptics or Australian Council Against Health Fraud conferences, so I will see you there. Well, I mean I will see you here.

Haha. Kidding. I'll be there, probably arriving on the 13th in the afternoon. I'm not giving a talk this time, but I'll be MCing on one day, and I want to RSVP to crash the SkepChick party again. It's a tradition now!
 
I'm planning on going. Has a very good chance of happening. I just have calculate how much vacation I'll have by then, then decide which days to come and go in order to make the most of those days.

I haven't been asked to give a talk, or to MC. Geez....

I think that I should at least be able to make sure Mr.Randi's supply of root beer is kept fresh.
