Given that the allegations are all correct, I assume. I'm sure you're wife would be upstanding enough to be fair before any rash decisions.
First last: It appears you've been informed. Please note that in his suit against her he did not, in any way, deny the allegations. He even went so far as to off-handedly imply that she recorded conversations. He's pissed that she wants 64m.
Yes, that would be my first reaction too -- but isn't it funny how these things always seem to go where the money is? (When's the last time you came across this sort of stuff aimed at a cameraman?) And it's not up to Mr. O' to prove his innocense, she must prove her case. (Maybe she can, maybe she can't, but I'm not going to go and assume who's right and who's wrong with only one side's information.)
If you think it appears to be an attempt to discredit/extort: I agree.
If you think it appears as if she set him up: I agree.
If you think the allegations are groundless: I disagree.
I'll reserve judgement until it appears that both sides have had a fair say. If he's as guilty as it states in the allegations, then he should be punished -- but if not, then she should be liable for damages. And if she did "set him up", then all bets are off as that can have the case dismissed. What should be interesting is if other women come forward with similar situations; if none do, that may say quite a bit regarding this allegation.
