My Finnish friend, who has hated democrats and the left ever since his family business somehow got ruined by...taxes...keeps bringing up the 2024 election and Harris and endless stuff about democrtats (the Fox news stuff). He and many more in the center and somewhere to the right fail to see what is happening now. And even what happend with the modern electors. Almost nobody will remember much about Biden or Harris. Other than vaccines and the pandemic. All of the news and the things that happen between 2025-2028 will be blamed on Trump. He himself wants to be in the news, so that is what the voters will remember. All that Trump brings, and a president failing to take blame for anything. For four years.

So no history of democrats will matter. Other than it has to be anyone but Harris. Or any Biden official. Time to move on.

Harris also threatened to cut off U.S. military aid to Israel if they attacked Rafah, where the head of Hamas, among other top Hamas officials, were hiding. Follow along: If Israel did not attack Rafah, it could never win the war against Hamas. That would mean that Hamas would continue to shell Israel, keep all the hostages, rearm, and perpetrate more terrorist attack on Israel. Harris is either an idiot or she understood that. If she understood it is she is pro-Hamas, whether she says so or not. As you know, I think Harris is a dimwit, so the Bayesian probability on the idiot hypothesis is not 0 either.

What has me worried is Schumer going right up until last possible moment and then declining to run. Instead, he'll throw his support behind someone like Richie Torres or Chelsea Clinton. Basically take all the steam out of AOC's (hypothetical) run and kill her support among centrists.
