Thank God or Contingency that Oliver does not live in the USA and do support for Obama. That could have destroyed Obama's entire campaign.

And so does Obama. Guilt by association didn't even work for very long for Joe McCarthy.

These lies about "communist" and "cocaine" and such are really very racist, they are deliberately, maliciously playing on the voters' fear of strangers, and they represent such an appalling breach of ethics and morals that I hardly know where to start.

True. Look what his support did to Ron Paul's campaign (and no I don't think Oliver is representative of every Democrat or Paulite or ex-Paulite Democrats).

Well, first of all, you weren't comparing them to fascists, you were comparing them to nazis. There's a big difference.

the fascinating thing is....the fascist countries (accept Germany of course) seemed to be the ones that fought the deportation and extermination of Jews the most. Just look at how Italy and Romania fought the Nazis tooth and nail when it came to deporting their Jews. The Jewish population of Romania actually INCREASED after WW2!!!
