White Supremacists for McCain

I would actually prefer McCain over Obama.

No! Really?! You don't say? I am shocked, shocked I say.
To be honest I find your revelation as surprising as a heterosxual male saying he finds Scarlett Johansson sexier than George Clooney.

I knew it wouldn't take long before Oliver went ahead and blatantly equates the Republican party with Nazis.

No need for innuendos anymore, he just goes out and says it now clearly.

Well, do they push unreasonable nationalism: Yes.
Do they espouse "thoughtcrime": Yes
Do they espouse a totalitarian state, where criticism of the state is illegal: Yes
Do they pass laws allowing people to "disappear": Yes
Do they lie, lie, lie relentlessly in campaigns: Yes
Do they put appearance over substance in order to get elected: Yes
Do they show the 'win at all costs, to heck with the consequences' attitude: Yes

Hmm, what DO you think, Pardalis?

I would actually prefer McCain over Obama. An Obama presidency would mean a Communist takeover of America not just a Black President. I’m not sure these guys mentioned above get it.

Let's see, a rich guy from Chicago who more than just dabbles successfully in real estate is a "communist".

Um, talk about an obvious lie, man, talk about an obvious, pathetic lie.

Well, do they push unreasonable nationalism: Yes.
Meaning?

Do they espouse "thoughtcrime": Yes

What does that mean?

Do they espouse a totalitarian state, where criticism of the state is illegal: Yes

Example?

Do they pass laws allowing people to "disappear": Yes

Like...?

Do they lie, lie, lie relentlessly in campaigns: Yes

All politicians do that.

Do they put appearance over substance in order to get elected: Yes

Same as above.

Do they show the 'win at all costs, to heck with the consequences' attitude: Yes

Gibberish

Hmm, what DO you think, Pardalis?

You're not really convincing.

I wonder why Pardalis seem to defend racism - or why does this issue
bother you so much, Goury?

I don't defend racism you numbskull, I reject the association you make between Republicans and Nazis. Pay attention. JJ was talking about Republicans as a whole.

There may be racists and fanatical people within the Republican party, but that is the case for any political party. For you to equate them with Nazis is extremely distasteful and dishonest.

Why are so intent in demonizing the Republicans?

Oliver didn't seem to mind when Ron Paul had Ku Klux Klansman Randy Gray as his Midland County, MI organizer. Nor when he was hobnobbing with Stormfront founder Don Black and his son. Nor when he sent out racist newsletters in his name for 10 years.

Why the sudden change of heart Oliver?

What change of mind. I don't think that Paul is a racist - nor do I think
that McCain is a racist. That's not the point of this thread. The point
is concrete "Anti-Obamaism" - which probably will continue once
Obama is president.

MaGZ, you just made my day. :)

When I think of you and the pain you'll be going through for the next 8 years, I can't help but sing.

:)

Were they responsible for the Holocaust? No.

Meanwhile in Germany, the rise of the far-right has other political parties worried.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_Germany#Rise_of_the_Right

In the US, which has 300+ million people, the Nazi party has disappeared, while in Germany, which has 88 million, the Nazi party has won actual seats and has a certain percentage of support:

In some of the eastern regions results of between 10 to 15% were achieved. This result allows 6 German Nationalists to represent the NPD in State Parliament in Schwerin and means that the NPD is now present in 2 state parliaments
http://www.npd-sh.de/index.php?sprachen/englisch/

The NPD won 7.3 percent of the vote, giving it six of the 71 seats in the eastern German state's legislature.

Maybe you should worry about your own Nazis, they seem to have more legitimacy and political weight in your country.

In the US they remain a fringe group with no political significance.

Maybe if some people voted in your country, these people wouldn't pass through the system and get elected.

Just sayin'.

Goury, helllooooo - I'm worried about Obama due to the racism that
is still present in the US - and it's showing as I pointed out in this very
thread. If you're going to argue that German Supremacists are a threat
to Obama, go and start your own thread about it.

A few racists aren't going to change the tide that is already favoring Obama.

What you should be worried about is the rise of the far-right in your country, given that it has alot more support for a smaller population.

Well, start a thread about it. I don't know how the far right "taking
over Germany right now" relates to this thread?
