What's your theory about 9/11?

I missed it in the wall of text. Show me where paloalto is accusing the CIA or FBI of knowing the exact details of the plot execution.

On the other hand, his statement of them knowing the attack would kill thousands is I believe conjecture, unless he can show us casualty projections made by them in advance.

Blee, Black and Tenet asked Condoleezza Rice for an urgent meeting to take place at the While House on July 10, 2001 to discuss the latest warnings the CIA was receiving of a huge al Qaeda terrorist attack about to take place in inside of the US. At this meeting Blee presented a summary of these warnings that indicated a huge al Qaeda terrorist attack was about to take place inside of the US that would cause mass casualties.

This information is in Bob Woodward’s book, released in the fall of 2006, "State of Denial", and nowhere else, which makes one wonder why the 9/11 Commission over looked this information when they had Condoleezza Rice testify before it, in addition to George Tenet and Richard Clarke. At a meeting with Richard Ben-Veniste, Phil Zelikow, and George Tenet, Tenet described this meeting and the fact that Rice said she did not know what to do with this information and asked Tenet to give this same information to Ashcroft and Rumsfeld. So even Ben-Veniste and Zelikow were aware of this information and knew that it had been deliberately excluded from the 9/1 Commission report.

This does not answer the question.

If the CIA or FBI knew the plot, they would stop it as it happened, or before. Looks like no one knew the plot, except 19 nuts from UBL.

"Mass casualties" is undefined. It could mean hundreds.

Warnings of an OBL attack were also in Time/Newsweek from 2000. AFAIK, the US knew AQ was up to something, they just weren't sure what.

Yes.
Rice did not know what to do with this information. Of course not! What do you do in a country over over 330 million people and literally thousands of scenarios that could qualify as mass casualty attacks. The 911 Commission Report did outline that OBL had threatened to attack the USA, had declared war on the west and specifically the USA.

The query posed though, was how paoloalto arrived at the conclusion that the admin or FBI or NSA or CIA knew the particulars of the attacks that would have allow their interception.

Example that does not resemble the 911 attacks but qualifies as mass causualty attacks?
Hijack a couple of fuel tanker trucks. At 4am dump the load into the sewer system of suburban neighbourhoods. Throw ten minute timed detonators in then leave. Mass destruction and death of civilians akin to what AQ saw as happening in Palestine.

Or simply drive the tankers, at high speed, equipped with incendiary charges, into the Capitol Building, the Whitehouse or a baseball stadium during a game.

I'm just spitballing here, but if the book didn't come out until 2006, the 9/11 Commission wouldn't have had a chance to read it before they wrote the report.

This does not answer the question.

The CIA and FBI HQ did not need to know the plot in detail in order to stop it, they had the names of Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi on August 22, 2001, three weeks ahead of the attacks on 9/11, and knew these al Qaeda terrorists were in the United States in order to take part in this huge al Qaeda terrorist attack that would kill many Americans.

The credit cards of these two terrorists were used to purchase tickets for 10 of the al Qaeda terrorists on 9/11. They even knew that Saudi Arabian Airlines had Mihdhar’s credit card number and even knew that both Mihdhar and Hazmi had visas for the US. Had the CIA or FBI checked with the State department, they could have found Hazmi’s California address on the visa request that he used to get a new visa when his old one expired.

Instead of stopping this attack, FBI HQ agents and managers, under orders from former CIA manger Tom Wilshire, who had moved over to the FBI HQ in mid-May 2001, illegally shut down FBI Agent Steve Bongardt's investigation of Mihdhar and Hazmi. It is clear that in July 2001 Blee, Black and Tenet had ordered Wilshire to essentially sabotage any potential criminal investigation of Mihdhar and Hazmi by the FBI criminal agents on the Cole bombing, which he did when he ordered Corsi to illegally block Bongardt’s investigation for these two al Qaeda terrorists.

On August 29, 2001 Corsi sent an email to FBI Agent Stave Bongardt and told him that "at such time as evidence is developed of a substantial Federal crime (by Mihdhar and Hazmi) this information would be passed over the wall" for Bongardt to do a follow up investigation. But according to the DOJ IG report, on page 301, it says that Corsi knew on August 22, 2001 that the CIA had a photo of Walid bin Attash taken at Kuala Lumpur, knew that both Mihdhar and Hazmi had also been at Kuala Lumpur, and hence knew that Mihdhar and Hazmi had taken part in the planning of the Cole bombing that had taken place at this al Qaeda planning meeting. So not only did she have proof of a substantial Federal crime by Mihdhar and Hazmi six days before she shuts down his criminal investigation of Mihdhar and Hazmi, she even knew that because of this information she herself was committing a Federal crime by withholding this information from Bongardt and his team.

On August 30, one day later, the CIA sent Rod Middleton, Corsi’s boss, this photo of Walid bin Attash taken at Kuala Lumpur. Middleton had been on the phone with Corsi shutting down Bongardt’s investigation, when Middleton got this photo, so he knew that both he and Corsi were committing a major Federal felony of criminally obscuring the investigation onto the murders of 17 US sailors by not giving this information to Bongardt and then working to block his investigation of these two al Qaeda terrorists. By obstructing this investigation they allowed the attacks on 9/11 to take place.

This information, which is now in the public domain, was covered up by the Joint Inquiry Committee of the house and the Senate and by the 9/11 Commission who said that 9/11 happened because of a failure of imagination.

Because the CIA manages that had asked Wilshire to sabotage Bongardt’s investigation of Midhar and Hazmi knew full well that this would allow the al Qaeda terrorists to carry out the attack the CIA have been warned about, as did Wilshire, Corsi and Middleton, it is clear that both the CIA and FBI HQ had deliberately allowed the al Qaeda terrorists to murder almost 3000 people and clear that they got away with it due to a cover up by the corrupt officials who were overseeing these investigations.

The 9/11 Commission report states that on June 12, 2001 the CIA was told that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was directing the al Qaeda terrorist attack that they have been getting warnings about since April 2001. The CIA was told that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was sending many al Qaeda terrorists into the US to link up with al Qaeda terrorists already in the US, who the CIA already knew were Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi, to carry out this attack.

The CIA had already been given Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s Bojinka plot by Philippine Intelligence that called for hijacking multiple large commercial airliners in the US and crashing these into the World Trade Center Towers, the Pentagon and the US Capitol building.

All they had to do was have the FBI alert the US airlines for Khalid al-Mihdhar and al-Hazmi boarding any commercial airliners on US soil.

The investigation for Mihdhar and Hazmi was taken away from FBI Agent Steve Bongardt and his ream to was given to a completely inexperienced FBI intelligence agent, Robert Fuller.

When Fuller got nowhere in the FBI data base, ChoicePoint, he contacted Corsi and asked for permission to contact Saudi Arabia Airlines to get Mihdhar's credit card number. Inexplicably Corsi denied Fuller permission to contact Saudi Arabia Airlines to get Mihdhar's credit card number, see DE #650on the web site for the Moussaoui trial exhibits.

DE #650 is an unusual document. It is a slide presentation which appears to be meant only for an audience at the FBI of the events that had prevented the FBI from stopping the attacks on 9/11, but the information in this document is not found in any other document on 9/11, and much of this information was clearly left out of both the Joint Inquiry Committee report and the 9/11 Commission report.

.

So you suggest people should be arrested when no crime has taken place ?

One would hope that the 9/11 Commission was not waiting for Bob Woodward's book in order to write their report. They 9/11 Commission had talked to the exact same people Woodward had, Tenet, Clarke and Rice who all had this information. In addition, Tenet had met with Richard Ben-Venista, and Philip Zelikow and at this meeting Tenet had told both Zelikow and Ben-Venista about this meeting long before the 9/11 Report ever came out.

Both Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi were not only directly connected to the east African bombings, by both the CIA and FBI HQ but were directly connected by the CIA to the planning of the Cole bombing. I would hope we can agree that planning the Cole bombing was a crime.

In addition Tom Wilshire had sent email back to Blee, Black and Tenet on July 5, 2001 and on July 23, 2001 indicating that Mihdhar and by association Hazmi would be found at location of the next big al Qaeda terrorist attack.

Ok, what evidence did they have at that time ?
