It's why I rarely post in the 9/11 subforum anymore....even when confronted with overwhelming evidence that they are wrong....the truthers still hold firm to their beliefs. It's just a product of mental illness.

If I rember rightly Iconology was what Parnofsky called his third tier of iconography, and it was about social, historical and political context. It was not about hidden codes, secret rooms, or predicting future events. Looking for connections to an event after the films release that alters the dynamic of history and society is not what he describes. Nor is squinting to make one word look like another.

That makes no sense...it's a y and an n.....it doesn't mean anything. You're just seeing things that confirm your crazy theory. You want there to be some relation to 9/11...because that's what you believe...you refuse to believe otherwise no matter what evidence is presented to you, because that would mean you might be wrong about 9/11.

We've all seen it before...been there, done that...bought the t-shirt and sold it at a garage sale.

I when I go to sleep, I thought you finish that discussion about N and Y and A and W. Seams that you cant get it out of your head. Do not worry about that, after a few days, it will be better.
As much as I understand will you all together force me to believe what you believe. Why that ? Isn't it better that we have different meanings and learn to respect each other ? Isn't that what Mr. Randi want us to learn ?

You have a fantasy, you are a winner. Most people are stuck with reality;, you have no idea what happen on 911, don't care, can't waste time learning, so you make it up.

Making up silly lies about 911 saves time. It takes time to research 911, FDR, RADAR, fire science, physics, math, reading, etc; all take time. With a silly fantasy, you make it up, you can watch any movie, lie about letters, add it to your fantasy; you win. No wasted time, use the time you watch Kubrick movies, as your research.

Reality takes time, research and knowledge. Fantasy can be fit in with day dreaming, and you can use anything or nothing as your substitution for evidence; just make it up, post silly claims of winning, aka, you have not failed; and be all you can be. A winner, in your own fantasy world of woo.

Doing the math to see the "monoliths" don't match in dimensions, takes time; better to skip the geometry/math/work and make up a lie. (note: the monolith in FMJ has rebar jutting out from the top... where is the rebar in 2001? Glasses?)

I think the neocons appropriated/included Kubrick's symbolism. I doubt if the alleged cave planners could link "911" to "2001."
