What is the solution to America's immigration problem?

seeing point 5 brought up from Thunder is kind of strange.

Die Mauer muss weg.

5. Build a triple layer chainlinked fence across the US-Mexico border.
No.

I think the reward thing for reporting would be nice, not sure if your dollar amount is the right one, however. Don't want to get in frivolous and false reports, eh? When you toss out cash incentives, sometimes you get behavior you weren't expecting.

DR

It'll do wonders for the metal-snips industry, though :)

ETA: Thunder forgot one important thing... raise taxes to pay for it all. Which is one reason it won't happen; people want the government to give them things, but they don't want to pay for it. Ironically, many of the same politicians who are going off on immigration whole-hog are the same people who are rabidly anti-tax. Talk about an unwinnable situation - it's a stance not meant to actually solve any problems, merely perpetuate the status quo as a way of having a good talking point for the masses.
And have you done the cost analysis? Be sure to include the financial cost on hospitals and other social services and welfare that comes with importing millions of people for the sole purpose of driving down wages and benefits.

This seems obvious to me: Work with Mexico to establish a worker program where Mexico provides them their citizenship benefits, such as reimbursing a portion of school, health care, Social Security etc. and the US provides them jobs at reduced pay rates.
So your point is that US wages and benefits are too high and we need to import foreign workers for the sole purpose (there isn't a labor shortage in the US after all) to bring/keep them down?

Yeah, massive government databases, as well as the people and hardware that support them, are free
Uh, E-Verify is already up and running. It's not free, but it's a sunk cost and thus irrelevant to your analysis.

The first step to solving the immigration problem is ending Zionist control of immigration policy. Things were fine until the Zionists changed the immigration law in '65 (ref. Kevin MacDonald).

Now, we are beset by legal and illegal immigrants. The Zionists fully support both.

The solution is to change the law for legal immigrants, and to enforce the law for illegal immigrants. The ZOG wants to do neither.

Saggy you are a weak troll.

Amnesty (and citizenship) for all illegals in the USA for more than 10 years.
Amnesty (and citizenship) for all illegals under the age of 18 in the USA for more than 5 years.
Amnesty (and citizenship) for all dependants of an illegal granted Amnesty.

Greatly increase the minimum wage to the point that 35 hours of minimum wage a week is (just about) liveable.

Make the grey economy (cash in hand, undeclared income) much more heavily scrutinised, enforced and where appropriate, punished.

Eventually:

Merge ID cards, passports and credit cards into one, implanted (in hand/wrist) and super-encrypted chip. Distribute free readers to anyone who wants one. Make the readers plug in to USB ports and allow websites to interface with them. Data on the chips is never revealed/decrypted to the reader, merely forwarded in encrypted form to a central processor, which would then be able to confirm legality to work, travel (depending on query from reader), etc without needing to actually reveal personal information. Also can run payments from your account through it (and therefore using your home reader you can transfer money to other people's accounts). You could pick which account you want to pay using from a list of those you are authorised to use (including corporate accounts for example).

Finally, abolish paper/coin money. Illegal immigration over!

before 1965, mostly folks from north west Europe were allowed to come to the USA. do you support this?

I have more thoughts on my immigration policy:

People who have been in the USA for less than five years, should be deported.

Families of three or more who have been in the USA for less than 3 years, should be deported.

All other illegals will be allowed to stay. But they must pay ALL back-taxes, pay a penalty per person.

They will only have the right to work in the State where they live. They cannot work in any other state until they have lived in that state for 15 years.

They cannot apply for citizenship, for 15 years.

Children of illegals born in the USA will no longer be instant citizens. They can apply for citizenship when they turn 18.

I think this sounds fare and humane.

Yes. While there are jobs that illegals compete with citizens for, there are a TON of jobs which Americans flat out refuse to do even at minimum wage. No one is lining up to harvest the grapes locally. I'm sure the lettuce growers don't have unemployed Americans knocking down their doors to do that back breaking labor.

Industries that need remarkably low cost labor have two choices; illegals or robots.

It makes no difference what you think, it makes no difference what is fair and humane. The only thing that matters is what the ZOG thinks. It thinks its a fine idea for the US to become a third-world country with a majority Mexican population, and that's what's happening.

Arizona is bucking the ZOG, so that's interesting. We'll see what happens. Will other states join?

Finish the job we started back in the Mexican/American war. Turn Mexico in several new American states.

Now all Former Mexican citizens become American citizens therefore no more illegal immigrants. (except for those damned Canadians here on expired visas!)

Problem solved.

Don’t like number 8. Just a pain if you ask me. You’ll get a bunch of yahoos who report every brown-skinned person working at every convenience store, Laundromat, and fast food joint just because, giving us zillions of false leads and when one of them is occasionally correct, we give the yahoo a cash bonus to encourage the behavior.

Much simpler to give $10,000 and a green card to any illegal worker who turns in their employer.

um..they broke the law. people should be punished for breaking the law and violating our soveriegnity.

Mexico agrees.

So the solution is to make all illegal immigration legal - change the law then the supposed problem ("breaking the law") goes away! Hint: that isn't the underlying problem, think about it some more.

1. Easier path to citizenship for illegals already here - pay back taxes/fines, pass citizenship test. They have to work for it though. If we just hand out citizenship without provisions it will create a culture of government dependency among a low-educated, low-skilled populace, many of which aren't even minimally proficient in the English language.

2. Enact robust guest worker program - for illegal immigrants who wish to remain citizens of their home countries

3. Secure the border - if we don't do this we will still have millions of illegals streaming across every year and the problem will continue to exist, if not get worse. If you don't secure the border you are simply kicking the can down the road and not actually dealing with the problem.

4. Stricter laws against employers of illegal immigrants - this has already been covered.
