I find that a pleasant and comforting thought as well. I can easily conceive of a time when I will be ready to no longer be.
I spose its to hard for you to understand the concept behind, your only human.
Here's one version:
" Don't you ever laugh as the hearse goes by,
For you may be the next to die.
They wrap you up in a big white sheet
From your head down to your feet.
They put you in a big black box
And cover you up with dirt and rocks.
All goes well for about a week,
Then your coffin begins to leak.
The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out,
The worms play pinochle on your snout.
They eat your eyes, they eat your nose,
They eat the jelly between your toes.
A big green worm with rolling eyes
Crawls in your stomach and out your eyes.
Your stomach turns a slimy green,
And pus pours out like whipping cream.
You spread it on a slice of bread,
And that's what you eat when you are dead."

when you die a screen appears and up pops a graphic saying Level 2
So... does this mean I'll be seeing black for all eternity?![]()
But when one is in the state of being NOTHING, one knows nothing of it. Juct like before you became SOMETHING.^I've read so many things, tried to find spirituality in myself and read opinions from thousands of people with thousands of different opinions on this matter. I still came full circle to "I'll never know."
The idea that "we are energy coming from a perfect state to dabble in this imperfect physical state for the adventure of it" is a nice one. Do I believe in it? No. Wish it were true? That would be way better than "nothing"![]()
