What matters is evidence. FC and Snopes always explain their evidence and their reasoning and give proper citations so that anyone can evaluate the claims. If you have contrary evidence, submit it. That's how evidence based reality works.
No double standards, its a single standard: evidence is king. If you have the goods, show your hand. What is the contrary evidence, provide the links, be specific. Simple.
I'm not willing to "stand behind" any President "regardless" of anything they do. A President who commits crimes for example should be impeached and removed. A President who does not perform well their first term doesn't get my vote a second. Neither a President, nor a party, is America. This is not "Democratoria" or "Replublican-land" I wish you and all the partisans in the world would learn that.
ETA: Never mind. I now see your source of information is worldnetdaily. That is about the lowest level of evidence you can get. Its about as evidence based on homeopathy and has about as much substantive content, i.e. zero.

I like Snopes, but they're mostly for urban legends. All they've done is provide the image that Obama made available on his website.
I have another 'image' for you here.
It shows that natural born US citizen or not, his mother divorced and remarried Lolo Soetoro from Indonesia. In Obama's book he says he was in school in Indonesia for 4 years under the name of Barry Soetoro. The only way he could have done that was for his step father to either adopt him, or 'acknowledge' him. Either way he would have had to become an Indonesian citizen.

I’m curious, why do you think Fox News is not following up on this story? Do you believe they are part of the vast left wing conspiracy to elect Obama? They would have to be at this point, wouldn't they?

They seem to be a little behind. I knew quite a bit about the Ayers-Obama relationship before McCain decided to make it a campaign issue. Fox News only started reporting it after the McCain campaign said they were going to make it an issue.
The McCain is not a natural born citizen crap was only stupid because he immediately released his birth certificate and medical records. This issue with Obama's citizenship could go away just as quickly if Obama would just do the same.
If foreign nationals give birth in the US their child is still considered a natural born US citizen. Thus the nationality of the parents does not need to match the nationality of the children. Did Obama's mother renounce her American Citizenship when she married Soetoro? Does a child lose their US citizenship if adopted by a foreign national, even if their other parent remains a US citizen? Can parents renounce US citizenship for a minor? My guess is that the answer to all of the above is "no". I suggest you try to find answers to these little conundrums before making statements like "either way he would have had to become an Indonesian citizen," as if this were somehow relevant to his qualifications to be president.

So...A lawyer with a screaming crapload of ethics violations files suit, and that's evidence enough for you that Obama isn't really a citizen, and that the image of his birth certificate is faked*.
As laughable as I find that, my morbid sense of curiosity compels me to ask: what would you consider as reliable evidence that Obama is a citizen?
(* Incidentally, photoshopped images are typically fairly easy to spot if you know where to look. Have you looked?)

You missed a few dots.
The Annenberg Foundation was started by Republican Walter Annenberg, former ambassador to the United Kingdom under Nixon (pictured here with Reagan). The Chicago Annenberg Challenge was started (and dissolved) during Annenberg's lifetime. The Chicago Annenberg Challenge ended in 2001, three years before FactCheck.org was started. Although both groups received funding from the Annenberg Foundation, there are no other connections between the two groups.
Like I said above, FactCheck.org has been cited by both parties. Most famously by Dick Cheney in the 2004 VP debate, where he mistakenly called it FactCheck.com.
My wife has a step-father who never adopted her and yet she was called by her step-father's last name during her grade and high school years.
Regardless, even if he is also an Indonesian citizen, that doesn't mean he is not a natural born US citizen.
A bit behind? This has been bouncing around since the primaries at least. And it is hardly a “campaign issue”. If Obama is not eligible to be president and managed to get the Democratic Party nod anyway, it would be screaming banner headlines that John McCain couldn’t silence even if he wanted to.
