first of all, i didn't say all that, you're putting words in my mouth. you're also just calling them "less intelligent" instead of stupid because it's a little less insulting i suppose, but it's the same thing. you just don't like the term

what i do agree with is the part about their values are terrible, but they are stupid people so that's to be expected. trump appealed to them by validating their worst impulses, including just plain old racism, to all of our detriment. so i agree with that part. trump specifically targeted stupid people as a demographic. the paul brothers, joe rogan, adin ross and the kick streamer community, ufc, wwe, white nationalists, he cultivated mass appeal to that type of person and found millions of disengaged voters to show up to the polls by doing it. unfortunately, voting for him was a poor decision. i mean, take a look around at what's happening. all pretty predictable, all pretty bad. things aren't going good. this stupid demographic delivered this to you.

and while you might not like it, it's what happened.
There is a bit of sense in deciding things even if you are stupid:

MAGA problem: Being average does not get you anything

There is nothing in the Democratic Party platform which prevented them from appealing to disengaged voters who enjoy masculine-coded pursuits like streaming, gaming, and fighting. They failed to do this in part because they (like you) dismiss such activities as for the deplorable masses rather than the enlightened elites.

and by the way damion, i love gaming and i love watching fights. it's just these great things that i used to love have been perverted and turned to ◊◊◊◊ by people like dana white to get people like donald trump elected. and it sucks, and it's the idiots in these communities that keep it that way. so you don't have a clue, and i can tell

Democrats: Masculinity is toxic.

Also Democrats: Where have all the men gone?

Since we're talking about things Democrats did wrong.

well since we’re going to let these guys define masculinity, let’s let them. here’s dana whites thoughts on toxic masculinity from a recent appearance on katie miller’s podcast, wife of white nationalist and chief of staff stephen miller

here’s a video of dana white slapping his wife

Masculinity isn't toxic. Toxic masculinity is toxic.

Since we're talking about things Democrats did wrong.
So Democrats should also have embraced racism, bigotry, conspiracy theories, anti-vaxx, Christian Nationalism and voodoo economics?

No. If the voters are Deplorable, Democrats shouldn't get their votes.

People criticize the Democrats for moving to the right, then also criticize them for not trying to reach out to the kind of people who were willing to vote twice for Donald Trump.

Who suggested it was a good idea to cede cultural ideas of masculinity to those guys? There is nothing stopping people on the left from embracing or embodying non-toxic masculinity, assuming any of them can wrap their heads around the idea.
i didn't say it was limited to stupid people
You said to expect less intelligent people to be less moral as well. There is a name for this particular sort of shoddy thinking, but it's not problematic merely because it leads you to incorrect conclusions.
now there's a ufc arena being built on the white house lawn.
"Where have all the men gone?" say the Democratic strategists, sipping their flat white lattes while watching an androgyne enby give a TED talk about how therian romantasy book clubs are morally and intellectually superior to enjoying pay-per-view MMA fights.

i have noticed you often clip out an entire post and take a single line out of context as a rebuttal.

Although I occasionally check in on this thread, I very seldom see such hard-hitting investigative reporting as this:

According to a 2006 survey, over 60% of vampires identify as women.

According to a 2020 paper (Baldwin, Clive; Ripley, Lauren (2020). "Exploring Other-Than-Human Identity: A Narrative Approach to Otherkin, Therianthropes, and Vampires". Qualitative Sociology Review. 16 (3): 8–26. doi:10.18778/1733-8077.16.3.02. hdl:11089/38377. ISSN 1733-8077), the academic literature dealing with non-vampire Otherkin and Therianthropes is "somewhat scant". The authors of that paper were able to locate 24 representatives of the populations they discuss, classifying 13 as Otherkin, 9 as Therian, and 2 as vampire.

None were classified as Democrats, but I suspect that's because (1) the question wasn't asked and (2) the question wouldn't have been asked because the research was conducted in Canada.

Even so, I'm inclined to doubt whether therian romantasy book clubs had all that much to do with what Democrats did wrong in the 2024 elections.

Nearly 5000 posts in, over a year of discussion, and no consensus.

How about this? In the run-up to the 2020 election, the cornerstone of the Democratic campaign pretty much boiled down to "We're not Trump". Trump is dislikeable enough that this was persuasive for the election. Unfortunately, between 2020 and 2024, it turned out that Biden wasn't materially better than Trump as far as a whole lot of people were concerned. But for the 2024 election... the Dem campaign still sounded mostly like "We're not Trump", and that simply was no longer an effective selling point.

Buy Temu - we're not Wish!

That's only going to work if Temu is better than Wish. When it turns out Temu isn't better than Wish, that ad campaign becomes at best ineffective and at worst counterproductive.

2020: "We're not Trump."

2024: "We're not Trump, and you're ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ retarded."

Most of us acknowledge that was the perception rather than the reality. In fact, one common theme you will find in here is how to address that perception.

Are you under the impression that Biden was better for every single person in the US than Trump? Or are you merely taking the view that anyone who disagrees with your value set and principles is a bad evil nazi or similar sort of school-yard name-calling?

Obviously not billionaires, grifters, and pedophiles

No, I'm taking the view that anyone who thinks Trump's tenure was anywhere near as good as Biden's needs to lay off the lead paint cocktails. Biden/Harris aren't above criticism, but don't try gaslighting us with that "both sides" ◊◊◊◊.
