What are all you atheists doing for Easter?

I am sitting in a coffee shop bored. I was invited to some easter get together but declined because my family sucks. I guess I could go to church but I am feeling really apathetic right now. My wife is spending easter running down some road. I may go for a walk I guess.

Just waiting to hear if Jesus comes out of his tomb, sees his shadow and we have six more weeks of winter.

Yesterday I went home to my family and had a nice dinner :)
After that I played poker with my friends, and today I'm just chilling in front of the PC.

Trying to get a suppressor apart for maintenance after it seemingly welded itself together. Might have to use a bandsaw to get the end cap off. :)

Upon arising, I wondered why there was no mention of all the bodies of the saints that were resurrected when the Guy himself was.
Shurely that'd be worthy of note.
It would take the gloss off the only person idea, though.

One can perfectly well observe holidays without them having to do anything with your religion. After all, the Christians have been doing it for 2000 years.

I am in a Jewish coffee shop and a large bunch of Jews are having a religious discussion right behind me. I gotta go the Jewish shop has to close early to go celebrate Easter. I might have heard a few Jesus jokes being made nearby but I wasn't paying attention.

Well I am stuck here in Iraq, and it has just been business as usual (Insurgents treated us with some rocket attacks to help us celebrate Easter). Back in the states my wife took our kids to church. Still working the atheist issue with her. I don't really mind too much that our kids go to church maybe 3 or 4 times a year. And they only went because they are staying with my family.

Had scheduled a Little Big Planet 2 session with my son, since we both were gonna get that day off, but the hacker attack on the PSN has buggered that all up.

So I finished up a lecture for later this week and reorganized my Star Trek bookshelf and am now wasting free time checking my RSS feeds.

A honey ham with lots of pesto pasta/salad, topped with pine nuts and fuji apples. Also a 1996 Syrah.

Went for a walk in the park, but was annoyed by the zombie worshipers who were worshiping so loudly, I could hear them even though I had my iPod on. In a little bit, I will finish making the Jesus rolls for Easter dinner at my mom's house.

Downloaded Pron (the parody version), had some rabbit and egg drop soup, usual stuff.

Eating hot cross buns and an easter egg. All those nice old prechristian rites that have long gone by the board.
What's that?
The christians have taken over those rites?
Shock horror don't they have any rituals of their own ?
