The problem is not my taking parts of Mr. Jenning's account Glenn.
The problem is in all the missing details which the interviewers failed to extract with proper, methodical questioning.
He was in a hurry, he had a camera trained on him and he was being interviewed by a couple of college age young people. He gave them what he thought were the highlights and ignored the mundane.
When Mr. Jennings arrived at 7 WTC, there must have been a great deal to be observed but he only mentioned what he thought was interesting. Namely, all the police officers in the lobby, the deserted OEM etc.
Until questioned further, when he arrived at the 8th floor, he focused on the window breakage, his rescuers on the street, the burning vehicles, the dust, heat and smoke, and repeatedly about all the explosions he kept hearing inside 7 WTC.
When pointedly asked about how he could be so certain about whether the WTC twin towers were still standing when he got to the 8th floor, he said he knew because he LOOKED.
It would not surprise me, that had he been more thoroughly questioned, it was determined that Mr. Jennings and Mr. Hess did arrive at the OEM after 2 WTC had been attacked.
In spite of the murky timeline issues, it still makes little sense to me that before 9 am he was on his way to 7 WTC, had been alerted to the 1st attack, was making good time in "excellent" traffic conditions, and yet, according to your preferred timeline, it took him until almost 10:30 am to get to the OEM, find out about the evacuation and while hurrying down the the stairs, only made it to the 6th floor before 1 WTC collapsed.
