Hi there,..

just arrived from Germany, the head full of nothing.

Some of you are real comedians, aren't you ? But you have no chance,- I'm a joker.

Talk the talk, but will you walk the walk ?

warm regards Hans Peper

Hi neighbour,

A warm :welcome2 to you too.
Don't worry, we will fill your head with whatever you want, provided we can find evidence for it.

I'm not a real comedian. I'm a fictional one, sort of like a legend. Yeah, a living legend. That's what I am!

You, from the netherlands can fill my head without any problems. You can buy the filling at every corner.:D

Hans, from the borderland to scandinavia

Hi Crow T R0bot,

:welcome2 to you as well. If you are a friend of Frozenwolf, you'll be okay.
If I may ask: what is an MSTie?

Femke

Sorry for not responding sooner, but since your question was already answered, I'll do the next best thing and recommend MST3K episodes for you. They can be found in chunks on YouTube, and I've yet to fail finding an episode I want to find on there.

So type in stuff like "Mystery Science Theater [Episode title]" if you're curious. Episodes I personally recommend include

"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians."

"Santa Claus"

"Prince of Space"

"The Touch of Satan"

To name a few...

The names sound very intriguing. I'll settle down for a looksee as soon as I have the time. Thanks!

I'd like to welcome the new members and remind them to include Planet X option. The proper format is:

- Choice 1
- Choice 2
- etc.
- On Planet X {something absurd and funny}

Hi everybody. Been a lurker here since 2010 and have read a lot of interesting, lively and sometimes bizarre discussions ("fairies in the shrubbery" being one). I am 22, almost have a BA(Hons) in Business Management (in year 4). I can also do parlour magic like bending spoons and generally vandalising the cutlery!

I used to be a woo, probably all my life, until 2010. I used to be an Xtian but discovered that a book of fables that cannot explain different races (Thai and Africans are NEVER mentioned at all and neither are many many other races or geographical locations such as the Himalayas or the Atacama desert) and that offers nothing apart from easy magic tricks - making the probably flawed assumption that any of the alleged phenomena ever occured. After I realised it was nonsense, the rest of the woo also vanished. It's been a liberating experience to be able to see the real world for it's genuine wonder and not the made up guff.

So yes I've been lurking for 3 years and finally decided to join! My username came from a random username generator "look to the left and see what's there" so I picked tuxcat on account of my operating system (Linux's mascot is entitled Tux) and the fact I have a black and white "tuxedo" cat who was sat on the bed beside me begging for din-dins so it seemed apt :o)

Hi all. I was referred to this site a few weeks ago by a friend and thought I'd check it out. I've been a long-time forum user, having taken part in several communities, and am always looking to discover new ground and new people, so it'll be interesting to see what comes of my time here. Looking forward to some interesting convo!

I gave up looking for the welcome sign smiley. ☻☺☻

Been lurking for a year. Actually signed up a year ago but decided to lurk for a while.

Very interesting forum. Not many like it.

Hi Demografix,

:welcome3 And thank you for the compliment.
By "Not many like it" I hope you mean unique, and not unlovable :boxedin:
