Watching the debate tonight?

Okay this is the pettiest petty I've ever pettied but if you're going to do a split screen don't have words as your back drop because they don't line up and the camera wobbles ever so slightly is super obvious and it's driving me crazy.

Did I see Biden turn his head to the side and mouth "WTF" to someone seated lower, when Trump said something about "windmills"?

I mean (comparatively speaking) that was at the most boring and semi-sane of the debates this political cycle. No real bombs; either in content or tone.

Trump seemed to think Biden saying he wanted to transition away from oil was a bombshell

It wasn't as... memetic as the previous two.
 
I must say that this was unexpectedly civilized from both sides.Biden looks further away from dementia than expected. So I tihnk he "won" this clown show. I had as much fun as possible with this farce - hope you did as well.
 
I’m surprised nobody mentioned Trump’s response to Biden’s (don’t remember exact statement so paraphrasing) “There are 500 kids who were taken from their families.”

Trump’s emphatic response: “Good!”

That heartless bastard.
 
Biden had a fantastic conclusion -- the part where he was supposed to say what he'll say at his Inauguration. I'll be looking forward to hearing that for real.

Agreed. I've seen this type of thing often. It's as if the crosshairs in the camera viewfinder must be centered on the subject's nose, no matter how minimally they move.

I'm sure there will be some discussion about Biden's watch-checking. What was that about? Did he have somewhere to go? Apparently he took it off and set it on his podium after that because we saw him putting it back on.
