Why is @JoeBiden allowed to interrupt? @realDonaldTrump is not.

More importantly why was Biden able to denounce white supremacists and Trump wasn’t?

The only thing you need to know from this "debate":

"Proud Boys, stand back and stand by"

For those based in the US: Good luck. You're going to need it.
Also that he didn't see any violence from anyone but the "far left" :covereyes .

If you still can't figure out why the American public doesn't trust the media... just rewatch Chris Wallace's performance tonight...

Chris Wallace personified why the American public at large distrust the media.

Chris Wallace owes @realDonaldTrump and the American People an apology after the way he conducted himself tonight!

Regardless who you’re pulling for, I think we can all agree that Joe Rogan would do a much better job moderating this thing than Chris Wallace. #Debates2020

Tonight, the American people witnessed President Trump deliver a strong, focused debate performance—a stark contrast from Joe Biden’s weakness on virtually every issue.

There should be a clock like the one in chess matches that is set for 2 minutes and is linked to a mute button.

As a thought experiment, I wonder what would happen if a "leftist Trump" appeared. Like, someone on the left with horrible ideas, who acted exactly as badly as Trump, and who, if Trump were to debate them, would be just as out-of-control, leaving the two to scream at each other for several hours.

I know the trumpkins are unparalleled masters at doublethink, but it'd be interesting to see how they would spin it. Would they just keep worshiping Trump while accusing the newcomer of being too immature and out of control?

There would be more dignity and insight in the candidates playing off in a series of classic gameshow formats like Jeopardy, the Price is Right and Gladiators.

Trump lost the debate, because for the entire evening he was trying to make Biden completely lose his cool and go off the rails.
That is why Trump couldn't stop even for a moment, because his entire preparation had been for this single goal.
And he failed to achieve it.

Steve Doocy: "Because the president and his team, for so long, lowered the bar -- saying Joe Biden is gonna be drooling, he's gonna be in the fetal position -- and Joe Biden showed up and stood up for 90 minutes, you know, it was a wash."

Lovely how suddenly Steve Doocy is not part of Trump's team, and hasn't been lowering the bar for Biden for months.

It was an obviously stupid strategy from the outset, but stable jeniuses are gonna jenius, I guess.

If the commission is smart, they'll give the moderator a kill switch for the microphones. You'd still hear Trump's little rants but not coherently on TV. A virtual debate where they aren't even in the same room and the moderator controls a mute button wouldn't be a bad option either. Trump will never go for a virtual debate though.
