Was Tiller's Murder a Staged, State-Sponsored Terror Attack?

Take a look at a map of Kansas. He was arrested 3 hours after the shooting out side of Granger which is about 170 miles away from Wichita. Granger is NE of Wichita along I35. The speed limit on I35 is 70mph. That means we can expect Roeder to have driven anywhere up to 210 miles from the scene of the crime during those 3 hours, assuming he did the speed limit. He could very easily have made it to Granger with time left over.

Assuming he did the speed limit, yes. But this person has already demonstrated a rather lax attitude with regards to laws and other regulations... I mean, considering he just committed murder, I wouldn´t be surprised if he committed speeding as well.

Roeder does not have a criminal record. He is a law abiding citizen.

You are the one who ignores facts. Roeder does not have a criminal record. He has no hisotry of violence, and he is a law abiding citizen.

He also opposes abortion.

He repeatedly vandalized clinics, and is on video doing such. That the FACE act and laws against vandalism were not enforced is but one reason that Roeder was not in prison much earlier and Tiller is dead.

Local law enforcement said that they would rather be sued into compliance by Tiller than have to deal with being sued by the anti reproductive health care advocates.

Where you imagine conspiracy, the truth is more laziness and incompetence.

That he was not charged with vandalism doesn't mean he never vandalized anything.

On what do you base your assertion that Roeder has never vandalized anything?

ETA: Presumably the cops are building a pretty strong case. They should have eyewitness testimony (including from the two people at the church the shooter assaulted) and physical evidence (the murder weapon, gunshot residue and the like). The reason I presume they have these things is, given the circumstances, if they're missing all or most of these things, they haven't got much of a case. Even so--even if they've got a weak case and Roeder didn't do it, how is that in any way evidence of a government plot for a staged murder?

But here is a link to a pro life news website. And the Grey Lady, a local paper, a discussion of how the FACE act should have stopped Tiller's murder, and finally, Rachel Maddow interviews a clinic manager regarding witness testimony and photographic evidence (handed over to the FBI) of Roeder's past crimes.

Rachel throws in a detail that should be highlighted (so I will). Roeder had been arrested for having explosives in his car in the past. Despite your treatment of him as a saint, he has a long history with the law, including that specific incident, shortly before the first anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.

The FACE act makes minor offenses at reproductive health clinics federal crimes because anti reproductive health agitators have a documented history of domestic terrorism. Roeder had been linked to extremist groups for a long time.

Nor would I. I was merely demonstrating that being arrested 3 hours later 170 miles away is not at all impossible in that situation.

Hey G man! Care to prove he was arrested 2 hours after he shot Tiller and not 3 hours as the news reports? Huh, what's that? Nothing? Oh, o.k. I guess you will forever hold your peace then?

Has this been confirmed?

The last I read, police said they know of a Scott Roeder who was pulled over and found in the possession of explosives and turned out to be involved with the Freeman Movement, but they couldn't yet confirm that it was the same guy. (Which doesn't seem like it should be such a difficult task.)

This only proves that someone has a track record of making bogus accusations against Roeder. Roeder is innocent of those bogus charges.

I highly doubt Galileo actually believes his own rhetoric. His primary object is to disgust and offend as much as possible and he is doing a superb job at it.
