If y'all split these hairs any further, y'all are going to start nuclear reactions.
It is even more amusing that Tony called the US & A "secular" as it's one of the most religious places on Earth.
This is not circular reasoning.
Instead, it concludes from an atheist ideology held by an omnipotent state party to an atheist state.
Which is fully valid if that state does suppress religions.
If you disagree, provide a better definition of an "atheist state".
Antitheists form a subset of all atheists.

Ever heart of "selective perception"? It's something you should really try to reduce to an acceptable level.

Wrong again:
The country has an area of 3.5 million square miles, and its population is approximately 1.3 billion. According to an April 2005 Government White Paper, there were "more than 100 million religious adherents,"
US State Department Report 2006
http://www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/irf/2006/71338.htm
Thereafter, approximately 90% of all Chinese are irreligious.
Why?Yes, circular.
Says who?Albania under Hoxha. Which was an atheist state. The only atheist state to ever exist.
Kicking out like a horse while sensitive like mimosa? That's miserable.Another lie. It's clear from your lies and demogougery that you're bigoted against atheists.
In God we trust - you're telling the whole world. So, don't worry, you'll get there! We're a looooong way from the most religious place on Earth.

Argument? I didn't know you were the forum police in front of which I have to justify when I find something amusing. And you want to deny that your US&A is one of the most religious countries in the western world, quicho? So no counterargument. Ok
I couldn't care less about your personal doubts and fears and such. The site adherents.com you cited above says:.75% Catholic
3% Muslim
(http://www.nationmaster.com/country/ch-china/rel-religion)
33% Traditional
(http://www.adherents.com/Religions_By_Adherents.html)
I haven't been able to find any current stats on Buddhism or Taoism (http://www.asian-nation.org/religion.shtml) only many references tothem being main religions in China. In 1995 there were 68 million buddhists (http://acc6.its.brooklyn.cuny.edu/~phalsall/texts/chinrelg.html) so if we assume it grew at the same rate as the population, there would be roughly 74 million buddhists in 2005. That would be another 5.7%. I'm unable to find any stats at all for Taoism.
Similarly I have difficulty find stats for atheism in China. Although that is your claim and I should encourage you to bear the burden of proof, I have found that the 2005 estimate is for 240 million atheists worldwide. (http://www.adherents.com/Religions_By_Adherents.html). So after you split out the rest of the world (especially Russia) I seriously doubt you can come up with more than 650 million atheists in China.
You've just validated what I've long maintained; that, when you get the true substance of their beliefs, christians are anti-american. Thank you.
Aren't you glad that America's secular foundations have led to so much religious freedom?Looks like 78-80% of Americans are anti-American. I guess Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and Bush Jr. could be considered anti-American also.
From Wiki article "Religion in the United States"
"Most Americans adhere to Christianity. According to the 2001 American Religious Identification Survey (discussed below), 80% of the U.S. is Christian and 15% do not adhere to a religion. Other religions comprise 5% of the U.S. population. According to the CIA World Factbook, the U.S. is 78% Christian and 10% no religion,"

This is probably why Hilliary is doing a lot more talk about religion these days.

Why do you lie about what I wrote when it's right there for everyone to read? Who are you expecting to fool?
There can't be an atheistic majority in China because the number of Atheists in THE WHOLE WORLD is less than half of China's population.
It's right there in the post. So again, who do you expect to fool?
There may always be the possibility that he's fooling himself.eta: And when you state the USA is more religious than Iran, who are you expecting to fool with that? Are you in it for the lurkers or is there a certain section of the forum you think will fall for that?
Ahh, truth through majority...Looks like 78-80% of Americans are anti-American. I guess Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and Bush Jr. could be considered anti-American also.
