VisionFromFeeling Formerly Alenara

I failed the IIG test, but the claim is not falsified.

Geez those Arcturus survivor badges sure are appropriate - can anyone whose head is NOT done in by Annie/Anita/Alenara/Heather/Lena apply?

Anita - you have no idea that you just flushed the dunny. In it was any chance that you had a grip on reality. I see the student Health Centre at your university is closed until the 4th January.
Seek psychiatric help and do it quickly - this time, please take your meds.

From wikipedia, my bolding.

Grandiose delusions or delusions of grandeur are principally a subtype of delusional disorder but could possibly feature as a symptom of schizophrenia and manic episodes of bipolar disorder.[1] Grandiose delusions are characterized by fantastical beliefs that one is famous, omnipotent, or otherwise very powerful. The delusions are generally fantastic, often with a supernatural, science-fictional, or religious bent (for example, belief that one is an incarnation of Jesus Christ).

Grandiose delusions are distinct from grandiosity, in that the sufferer does not have insight into his loss of touch with reality.
In colloquial usage, one who is said to have 'delusions of grandeur' is considered to be one who overestimates ones own abilities, talents or situation. This is generally due to excessive pride, rather than any actual delusions.

OK, no explanation of breatharianism from VFF, so I Googled it.

Wiki came up, and low and behold Jasmuheen.

Doppelganger? What the heck is going on here? What's with all the blonde woo from Scandinavia? Food From Air, Vision From Feeling...what's next?

Here's a video of "Jasmuheen" being tested by the Australian version of 60 Minutes some years ago. Quite interesting, and utter crackpottery.

This is unbelievable. It seems to be a mental disorder much like anorexia. She completely blocks out any memory of her eating. I would be highly concerned for anyone practicing, or even considering practicing this form of self torture. I find it equally disturbing anyone would promote a practice known to have resulted in several deaths.

Alenara is a beautiful twenty-year girl with fair hair and blue eyes. She is completely different from her peers who sit in pubs, work at McDonalds, and pass the time at the the disco. She looks at individuals and sees their past, their problems, and advises them about what they need to do to solve them.

"My mom says that even as a little girl I could predict what will happen in a few days." says Alenara. "I would relate stories of extraterrestrial civilizations, giving details of physics and astronomy-things which most children would not have the foggiest idea about. My family did not want to hear, and silenced me whenever possible. My mother even repeated that I was unhappy if I did not stand out."

Alenara lives in Sodertaije, Sweden. She has two sisters and two brothers. She studied economics. "This year, we will study chemistry and physics. I am fluent in three languages, and taught them to others. Learning is extremely easy for me." she continued with a smile. "At least, in the earthly sense. This earthly knowledge is important-we do not only live once, so it increases the knowledge of our souls during the subsequent incarnations."

"I remember all of my incarnations, including those in another dimension, and earlier childhoods. I'm even using the name I bore during one of the earlier incarnations. My current official name and earthly life is that of Anita Ikonen."

"Five years ago, I decided to attempt channeling, to find out why I am different. I received a reply. It was as if, suddenly, there was darkness to brightness. I picked up the transfer, and understood that my role is to become a teacher, talking to people about how to grow and be happy. "

Alenara arrived on the teaching/lecture circuit at the invitation of Polish Joachim M. Werdina, founder and operator of the Polish club Niejedzących, and author of the book, "Style Of Life Without Food." They met at one of the mailing lists on the Internet.

"As soon as I realized how unique Alenara is, " - says Werdin, "I wanted her to lead courses in Poland. She agreed. We went all over the country. What we have experienced can not be described. People love and respect Alenara, and she claims that the Poles are very spiritual. It is immediately apparent to people we meet that Alenara have access to true knowledge. She looks at individuals and sees their work as internal organs or 'chakras'"

"I did not go to any school of yoga, although my esoteric courses did not end, but my knowledge is consistent with 'transfers' from the masters. I just know, " smiling, " I remember the long journey of my soul. In ancient Egypt, I was a priest. In the sixteenth century, and I also lived in Russia, and came from a rich family. I was given in marriage when I was seventeen years old. I was not happy," since her husband was an alcoholic. "This was probably why, in the next incarnation, in the seventeenth century, in France, I protested against a marriage."

"Incarnation in an earthly life can be multiplied. But, what I experienced on other planets is of great importance to me. I can see it in detail, as if happened yesterday. I was a man of Orion. I worked as ambassador to the spaceship, I met representatives of different civilizations, helped them find a common path, and make friends. It was a very important mission, because all of the universe will, sooner or later, be searching for a common path. A common path, step by step, brings everyone closer to harmony. On a planet, I was a priestess in the temple, and all sorts of beings came to beg the goddess for help. I never refused, only asking if their intentions were good."

"What was my most important incarnation? Tel Maar, a planet behind one of the stars called white dwarfs by earthly beings. This is a completely different planet than Earth, saturated with the colors of purple, red and pink. Is classified as a sixth dimension, including the astral plane. When I close my eyes, I see that an approaching evening on Tel Maar, when everything has an intense red color, or the rising day in an orange-golden color. There are no animals or plants around, the oceans are consistently full of water. Beings who inhabit Tel Maar, do not need food-the light is beneficial, and contains the ingredients necessary to life. Therefore, the people do not have any internal organs. Their mouths are very narrow and they do not open them. The exchange of thoughts and feelings is at the level of telepathy and empathy. How to love these creatures? It is unlike Eartyh. Men and women mix their DNA, creating a body to which the soul ascends. Even infants know all that is needed to live on the planet."

"On Tel Maar, there is no marriage-love and friendship are given as gitts by all. There is no such thing as betrayal or deception, because no relationship is exclusive. There, I bore the name of Alenara and I was happy, free and satisfied. "

When Alenara says something, it's hard not to notice that it has a hypnotic effect on listeners. One of the participants in the course remarked: "For the first time I met someone...Alenara is unusual. When she says that the future will be a lot more spiritual, I know it's true. The ages of materialism and technology will end, and more spiritual beings like Alenara will live among us."

"After the first day of the course, many came to me and said: "I do not believe it." says Werdin. "Only Alenara and I understood what was going on. From that point forward, I could even hear the thoughts oft my wife. Alenara opened my eyes. Thanks to her I realized that as important as love is trust. "

In seminars, Alenara tells people that life is possible without eating. She hasbeen preparing for several years for "Niejedzących", the time when all beings will be sustained by the "living light" .

"As a child I ate quite normal, everything without exception. This changed 5 years ago - I felt bad every time I ate meat. It provoked migraines and I got dizzy. I found it difficult to digest food, and I decided to stop eating meat . After some time, I found that I am less and less hungry. Since I had no appetite, I ate only from time to time and I felt very well. Today I know that I do not need food to live. Moreover, not only me. It is possible for anyone when there is no fear, but faith. However, I do not recommend anyone to stop taking food. The time, "Niejedzących", is yet to come."

On their courses Alenara also tells about UFOs, which she depicts in the context of disaster movies.

"The world and the universe are very friendly to us. But somehow we do not want to see this, " she smiles. "I myself have no doubt that the earth is observed by other civilizations. I received from them a lot of telepathic communication. I learned that for several coming years, we face natural disasters: hurricanes and floods. Then will be the era of peace, spirituality and friendship. The UFO will contact us, when we are already prepared to peacefully use the knowledge that alien civilizations want to tell us. "

The above was translated from Polish by Farencue, and I reformatted it to make it easier to read. While that required adjusting some of the English, after double checking several times, I don't believe any of Anita/Alenara's statements were taken out of context. If there are any discrepancies, it was completely unintentional.

As well, Farencue did not intentionally violate Rule 4 - I included the photo in my original post on the StopVfF website, and he simply copied/pasted. My fault, not his.

Wow. Every time I think I can't be more embarrassed for her, she tops herself. That just made me squirm.

What I think is important, though, for the VFF discussion is that she keeps claiming that her VFF-ness is not the result of psychic knowledge, and she never claims to be psychic. She insists specifically that she underwent her "tests" and "studies" to find out scientifically what's going on.

But here she clearly claims that she gets telepathic communications from otherworldly beings as the source of much of her "knowledge" about the future. Her most important incarnation was Tel Marr where EVERYTHING is psychic and where she apparently learned the techniques of breatharianism. So why is she claiming she doesn't know whether or not she can really see inside people, or it's just some form of magic synesthesia? Doensn't this show she clearly KNOWS that the source of her numerous special abilities is paranormal?

So, Anita, why the whole IIG fiasco? When you know that all your information is telepathic from otherworldly beings, or a paranormal ability you already had in another incarnation on another planet, why did you put all those good people through so much work? Why did you not stand up afterwords and proudly state, as you promised, that the claim was falsified? Why? (Well, unless it's all for attention...)

Yes. It does. No wonder she didn't want anyone here to find out about 'Alenara', and tried to 'kill' this thread (successfully, as it turns out) by doing all she could to have it placed on moderated status. She wanted to avoid this very question. There is no way she can answer it without revealing that one of the incarnations (Alenara or VisonFromFeeling) is a liar.

With the lecture circuit, "Alenara" might have had enough media presence to qualify for the MDC. Wonder why she settled on VFF and the IIG.

I had a great-aunt who was a proto-breatharian. A very devout Christian Scientist who believed that if she fasted for 40 days and nights, God would give her back her teeth. She knew that the fasting was working because God would send her light to give her strength. Every time you spoke with her she was 10 -17 days into her latest fast.

As kids, we professed a great respect and love for her. Even chided our parents for calling her "Crazy Aunt Betty." They never understand why we had such a fondness for the ranting loony but indulged us (and their own guilt) by visiting her as often as possible.

And why did we mouth these pious platitudes? Because she hid piles of various candy bars and twinkies under her bed in plain cardboard boxes. While she always forbid us from going into her bedroom, she could never say why. So we would be sneaking in and out all day, grabbing handfuls and then hiding behind the garage to gorge ourselves. It was paradise.

I have no doubt that Alenara would be eligible for the MDC. Very interesting that she chose never to mention that.

Translation: Anita, I don't think you understood my post. I was talking in general terms about the now defunct connection between perfectionism and anorexia. It was an aside, and it had nothing to do with you - but I do note that you use it as an excuse to hold a repetitive self aggrandizing lecture about your own perceived perfection. The post wasn't about you, and yet you tried to make it about you. Noted. Your claims of the ease of academic achievment due to how easy schoolwork is to you are in direct opposition to your own previous statements, and anyway - so what? Children _do_ learn to read in one day, it is called "cracking the code" and denotes the point where it all comes together so that it seems like a child couldn't read yesterday, but can today. I have seen countless children do just that long before school age - I did it myself at three and a half and I have seen plenty of children that age do it. There is nothing special about that.

I also noted that you have chosen to lie about how contact seeking behaviour is perceived in Sweden in a different thread - you must have realized there would be other Swedes on this board, surely?

Oh, and as far as being tri-lingual our anglophone friends might like a little insight into that. Am I correct in guessing that your three languages are Swedish, Finnish and English?

Anglophones: Anita's last name is Ikonen. This is a Finnish last name so it is likely Anita was bi-lingual from birth. English is taught from third-fourth grade (depending if you went to school under lgr-69 or lgr-80 national curriculum). It is extremely common in Sweden to be fluent in Swedish, Finnish and English. In seventh grade you pick a third language (fourth if your home is bi-lingual) - usually French, German or Spanish - and then usually another one in Gymnasiet (app. uk-upper secondary to sixth form/us-senior high - junior college).

It is of course possible that Anita's parents did not teach her Finnish, in which case she would be fluent in Swedish and two other European languages - just like almost everyone else born after 1969 in Sweden. If Finnish was spoken at home, or among relatives, then Anita would actually be one language short, as compared to her peers. If not, trilingualism is exactly matching her peers.

Of course being bi-lingual is a great advantage: I am not knocking that in any way - and Finnish, should this be one of the languages, is a very useful and above all beautiful language. But if it is used to insinuate extra special abilities it does not really hold water.

Most bi-lingual children will pick two foreign languages in school, and in effect be quadrilingual. It is generally considered an "easy out" to pick a mother tongue for your B-, or C-language (as it is called).

An open letter from 'Alenara', posted by Joachim Werdin on his forum. Interestingly, iAnita does not attribute her breatharianism to her paranormal incarnation on Tel-Maar, but approaches her experience from a human standpoint.

Alenara said:
In the meantime I tried all ways of eating I could find. Any varieties of vegetarianism, veganism, raw foods, fruitarianism ... Nothing felt like the true human diet. Intuitively feeling my way and scientifically studying about nourishment, physiology etc., lead me to the same conclusion: humans don't need to eat!

Perhaps 'Alenara' never applied for the MDC because she couldn't decide which self-proclaimed paranormal ability to test?

'Alenara' could not have applied for the MDC challenge for Breatharian related stuff, as my understanding is that such things do not qualify, for health and safety reasons. So, she needed to create a new persona and a new set of claims that would be testable within the rules of the MDC.

Interesting...thanks for the info. :)

FYI-Anita mentioned in one of the VfF threads that, even though she was born in Sweden, both or one of her parents (can't remember which) were Finnish. So it is highly likely they taught her the language at home. :)

*respectfully snipped and bolded*

IIRC, Anita is Swedish-born, of Finnish parents. So my guess is: Swedish, Finnish, English. For an American, impressive. For a Swede, as you cogently point out, fairly par-for-the-course, and absolutely no indicator of any paranormal ability.

Also from the letter desertgal pointed to:

Life without food is easy. It gives such freedom. You never have to eat, but also you can eat if you want to. But best of all, it makes you an independent, self-sustaining person with a great feeling of self, and nothing, not even food, can make you forget about yourself anymore. When you constantly feel the life of who you are, you see that you need no life from the outside (such as foods).

This sounds very dangerous if someone who was gullible enough to believe this nonsense reads it and tries to do the same.
