Video Fakery in the 9/11 Attack

And the fact that such conspiracies are impossible doesn't bother you one bit ?

Or the fact that the families of the victims would have to lie as well ?

If all the names of the passengers on Flight 175 were replaced by fictitious names, it means that the 'victims' families are fictitious too, fabricated, not real, actors playing a part-time role now and then.

Yeah, I know. That's a bit too nasty. It's probably more likely that in the case of Flight 175 that it simply landed AS scheduled BUT with a different flight number. And then they replaced the names for all the passengers on Flight 175 with names of recently deceased people.

And none of their loved ones would notice or mind.

Hmm... I haven't thought this through apparently. Here is a better version: Flight 175 could have landed as scheduled but with a different flight number. Changing flight number is probably easy to do in their computer systems. And then all the names on the passenger list were replaced by completely fictitious names, and Wayne Gretzky and others are simply acting (read: lying through their teeth) for the sake of the cover-up.

And no one knows any of the victims. Gee, if I'm a reporter trying to get someone's thoughts on this and I can't find any of the victims' family, I don't guess I should find this suspicious in the least.

You're making this up as you go. This isn't "12 Angry men" where bare possibilities lead to an acquittal.

And they decided to go along with this because... ?

Forget my idea about that. I hadn't thought it through. A better version is that the real passengers landed as scheduled and that only the flight number was changed. The real passengers' names are not on the official passenger list. So the real passengers simply went on with their lives as usual, believing that their flight was not Flight 175 since their flight number was changed. Something like that. It's not crystal clear to me yet.

So other people than the official passengers of Flight 175 boarded a plane with a flight number other than Flight 175? Do you have any idea what you did here?

It's not crystal clear to me yet.

That much is evident.

A cunning twist, but unfortunately it doesn't account for the fact that people are missing (well, "missing" other than their DNA being recovered from remains at the crash sites).

This is not true.

<snip>

... and that is only a sampling of what's out there. To defend a no plane theory, you must account for what these witnesses saw. Claiming "holograms" or theorizing about jets being taken to air bases are insufficient; eyewitnesses saw jets impact the towers. You are mistaken in your claim that there are "no real eyewitnesses" to the event. There are. You cannot ignore them.

Oh, he doesn't. He just says that all the witnesses were either paid to say that they saw the impact or were "peer pressured" into it.

Not to guild the lily, but: It should also be pointed out that the radar data as well as the airphone calls establish the hijackings and ultimate destinations of FL 11 and 175. That, too, is something that refutes the no-planes proposal.

All faked, of course.

No, I was thinking that they changed the flight number in mid air, and that the captain told the passengers that their flight number had been changed because of some reason. I admit that it's not entirely plausible.

An even trickier alternative is that there were TWO Flight 175 in the air at that time, or so they said, and that it was the OTHER Flight 175, UA175-2 or whatever, that had crashed into the WTC.

But I'm just brainstorming here. :D:o

This is ludicrous.

I'm not so sure that it's ludicrous. The idea of totally made up names and faked families actually sounds plausible to me. Then they can simply let the media create believable stories about it, and since no one else know these fictitious people, ordinary people wouldn't notice that it was all completely made up.

Storm your brains on this for a while:

Five Muslim terrorists hijack United 175 mid-air, take control of the cockpit and fly the plane to New York City and into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.

Unfortunately, this too fails, as there are indeed people who knew the victims (at least one of whom is posting here) ergo the victims were not fictitious.

Yes, it's true that he says that, but that's not a refutation or even an acceptible answer. It's nothing more than an unsubstantiated dismissal. A handwave.

In and of themselves, those are sort of a pair of positive claims: 1. That the witnesses were "paid" or "peer pressured", and 2. That the electronic data was faked. For either argument to be taken seriously, substantiation must be made. In the absence of that, there's zero reason to accept his dismissal because he's not basing it on anything.

So, there's the challenge to him: Pony up. The claim has been made: The witnesses are lying/hiding the truth, and the radar data and phone calls are faked. He must provide evidence for these or concede the failure of his attempt to refute the points.

But are you sure the people who knew the victims are not actors? My idea was that the friends and family members to the 'victims' (made up names) of Flight 175 are all acting.
