Vaccine/autism CT discussion

Tell that tommy rot to the parents of the 1 of 88, and 1 out of 55 statistics quoted on TV.

That "tommy rot" [sic] is my extended family, actual persons with actual lives. I don't need TV to see three vaccinated generations, no individual of which has died of smallpox, or whooping cough; or has been paralyzed by polio; and not one of which is autistic.

Do consider being careful whom you accuse of "foolishness".

That's a lot of kids. Not one case of autism? That's how I know that's a whopper.

While you're at it get a list of doctor's children under 5 years old in the USA who are autistic. 300 will do.

You have often made this claim but for some reason never seem able to support it. On what evidence do you base this claim?

Lack of vax facts.

So because something doesn't back up your beliefs, it's automatically a lie.

The incidence of autism is actually about 1 in 88. None of those people having autism is, statistically, perfectly normal.

Sure! Just as soon as you prove your earlier (implicit) claim that every single doctor who has ever claimed to vax their kids is lying. You show me your impossible-to-produce evidence, and I'll show you mine.

How about this first: Give a biologically plausible mechanism in which a vaccine can cause autism or any of the maladies you pretend to think that vaccines cause.
And why it discriminates by biological sex, despite boys and girls getting the same shots.

Tell that tommy rot to the parents of the 1 of 88, and 1 out of 55 statistics quoted on TV.

Ah, trying to hedge your bets, I see. What's strange is that you quote these statistics, yet still scoff at the idea that a group that doesn't have 55 people in it - much less 88 - would not have one person with autism.

Previously he claimed I was lying when I mentioned as kids, my pediatrician father gave me and my brother our vaccinations every year.

Not to mention, in the military I've had probably ~50 vaccinations and boosters; to include anthrax, yellow fever, plague, hep A -B, and rabies.

It's because anything which contradicts his POV is by definition, wrong.

oh yes clayton you veteran friends when are they coming to your aid?

So

Still no evidence from clayton that:

MMR cauaes autism - no evidence

Vaccines cause asthma - no evidence

Vaccines are impacting on evolution - no evidence

There is a US specific form of autism - No evidence.

That should be fun to see CM explain. I'm guessing he won't bother trying.

clayton will point to yet another youtbue video, crank website or to an article they have not read through to the end.

Yuk. I need a shower after reading this pro vaccine ugliness. :p
Yeah, you need to get that gunk off.

Correct!

In the Holocaust thread, he once claimed Hitler didn't sign exemptions, then linked to and quoted a Wikipedia page that said Hitler signed exemptions. When called on it, he simply repeated himself, except this time the quote didn't include the part that said he was wrong. Then he stopped talking about the subject entirely.

It's perhaps a few dozen kids, and you can't believe none of them is autistic? Clayton, what proportion of vaccinated children and unvaccinated children do you imagine are autistic? I mean very roughly - ballpark percentages. I'm genuinely curious to know what sort of world you imagine you inhabit.

Well, I had them all too, so did my wife, & her sister, & her sister's kids, & all of my cousins & their kids, my doctor's kids, his grandkids, my son's doctor's kids & grandkids, neighbor's kids... etc... no autisim.

What is said here is that he doesn't know of, personally, any autistic children. :boxedin:

I was correct. Your ilk are blind to baldfaced lies that support agendas.

Please disrupt the thread more.

Pointing out that you don't read sources through and often post links that contradict your assertions isn't derailing - it is pointing out one of the big flaws in your arguments and is intended to make you a better person by pointing out the mistake and giving a clear method by which to correct it.

Incorrect. What is said there is that of the people/children whom I know have had every vaccine recommended, none of them have autism.

No one in the three generations of my exofamily to which I referred has autism, despite the rigorous vaccination profile administered to one branch of one generation, and the standard schedule followed by the rest of them.

Not one of the vaccinated individuals is autistic, "has" autism,or "developed" autism.

None of mine either. In fact I don't know of anyone even among my peers who has autism, nor any of their children who has it.

This is getting to a significant sample size, given other reports provided. Already we have several hundreds of vaccinated individuals yet not a single reported case of autism.

Clayton will, of course, accuse all of us of lying.

For me the anti vaccine campaigners are responsible for causing real harm and deaths, the blame for the deaths caused by the anti vaccine hysteria they have whipped up, lays squarely with these campaigners.
