Merged Uri Geller on UK TV again

I found this documentary to be very confusing. I’ve seen documentaries that purport to have some kind of objectiveness, and also documentaries which were clearly polemic: where the director has a story and anything that doesn’t fit with that is removed or down-played. But this is the first documentary I’ve seen where the makers don’t seem to care either way if it’s true or not.

They make no attempt to check anything, but at the same time these statements are often underpinned by slightly comedic music. The only thing I can say for sure is that the documentary makers didn’t know about the subject in question. Perhaps they couldn’t bring themselves to believe in it uncritically, nor to challenge it either.

I write about it a little more on my blog:

dark side

hmmm....I can't help it but I do have similar qualities. And when I was a young lad I saw him bend spoons on tv...I tried this at home at the dinner table and was successful...to my Dad's shagrin and my mother's retort as to not be doing that and not to her silverware while giving me the evil eye. And now that I have hardware in my fingers in one hand to repair an accident with a power tool ( which there are thousands each year), I do not try to do it anymore. Actually I thought about it and my injury started to feel pain. So I have decided to use/transfer/evolve my mental powers in other directions.
