it Is possible that the new government in about 18 months or so after a few by elections finds itself in the same boat as the mid 90's Major government and the mid 70's Wilson/Callaghan Governments, dependent on smaller parties to get votes through.

after all the SNP leader has already been to 10 Downing Street to negotiate greater powers for the devolved Government of Scotland.

It is possible. But by the time of any resurgence in the Labour party or Lib Dems most of the government's work will be done. We've just watched a government do virtually nothing for 3 years and there is every chance of that happening again.

Yep. It won't take much to erode their majority. One reason why they are in a rush. The extra budget in July is one sign I would say.

But the mask has slipped with the Scottish Office memo of a conversation between Sturgeon and a French diplomat in which she reportedly claimed she’d prefer Cameron to stay as Prime Minister. She may have denied this, along with the Frenchman. But he’s a diplomat so he’s obviously being diplomatic.

I hope Carmichael is made to squirm. Politicians must have integrity. For some reason, not that I have been keeping notes, I tend to associate the Lib Dems particularly with electoral dirty tricks.

In the Daily Mail I read that one Labour genius thinks the road to regaining power involves cutting welfare and blocking immigration.

If they think that'll win an election, that's what they'll do. Blair taught them that. But alas they failed to heed the Wisdom of the Great Leader this time. They won't make that mistake again.

Being right of where they are now, and having some sort of offering for people who want to achieve something in life, doesn't make them right wining. It just puts them closer to the centre, which is the only place you can ever win an election from in the UK.
