The claim now is that he "didn't hear the question".

After the event, several reporters asked Trump why he didn't challenge the questioner's assertions. Trump did not answer.

But Corey Lewandowski, Trump's campaign manager, later told CNN that the candidate did not hear the question about Obama being a Muslim.

"All he heard was a question about training camps, which he said we have to look into," Lewandowski said. "The media want to make this an issue about Obama, but it's about him waging a war on Christianity."

And shouldn't someone planning to run for President be sure they know what question they're answering? It reminds me of a scene in the Richard Pryor/Jackie Gleason movie "The Toy".

I think that guy at the Town Meeting is a damn good example of the hard core Trump supporters.

The fact is that such a question was actually asked by one of Trump supporters and juding by the auidence reaction, then quite a few of the other Trump supporters liked what the man asking the question had to say.

Again, so what?

Trump has now had plenty of time to clarify his answer and yet he has not done so, therefore the Trump silence says a great deal about him.

Trump has been trying to clarify his response since Saturday. See page 53 of the general Trump thread.

Trump has not been silent on the matter.

Our paper reported that Trump did not respond to Obama being called a Muslim because one it was not his job to defend Obama and no matter how he answered the response some-one would take it out of text and he would have been wrong no matter what he said,.

Well pardon me if I believe that clarification via a few Tweets from a birther is the proper maner in which someone running for a national office should issue such clarification.

Other people agreed with you which is why he spent part of Saturday night fielding questions about it after an appearance in Iowa. That's where he gave his "I love Muslims," answer.

I think the guy is a self-absorbed clown. I was just pointing out that he wasn't being silent about his poor answer to the crazy-headed question.

On various online social media sites, I have been called feminazi, libtard, illiterate, sick, pinhead shill, bitch, poo eater, and so on. Donald Trump supporters have called me some of these things. If they really want to represent their guy, they should be more polite.

I choose to take the high road and not stoop down to the level of the people who insult me.

If I were running for office, I would probably be called even worse things. I still would not stoop to their level.

Everyone on the ISF forums have been nice to me. I like you all!

Well you can say the same thing about Hillary and Bernie supporters also, It's just whos site/ forum you happen to be on. go to Bernie or Hillarys site and say something that you would say to a Trump supporter and watch what will happen to you. The only difference is one party likes to be lead you around like sheep and the other wants to be free and uphold the constitution.

I choose not to insult Trump supporters. I have called Trump names such as megalomaniac narcissistic buffoon. Trump is in the public eye, so he is fair game. I choose not to insult family members of any of the presidential candidates.

I have also tweeted Bible verses about social justice and other topics to Donald Trump and to Ann Coulter. It doesn't seem to be doing any good, lol
