I was thinking of stretching it a bit into "what are typical Trump supporters?"

A post in another thread made me think of this thread.

If you could gather a few thousand Trump supporters and poll them, what questions would you ask.

I am kind of curious what numbers might turn up for "are you in favor of giving LEOs the right to stop anyone who appeared to be illegal and ask for papers?" And "should there be a law against knowingly giving aid and comfort to illegal aliens?"

Quite macho jokester from Jalisco I do business with has a gay hairdresser son with no papers working/living near Sacramento.

When the family came (with visas) to see him I hear the kid was wired money, some of which was spent by them to visit Disneyland.

What should I do?

I, like many other Americans, also cannot believe that Trump has become a serious candidate for POTUS. I'm usually too dumbfounded to even put up an argument anytime I hear someone talking him up. And we have FIFTEEN MONTHS of this to go :covereyes :boggled:

the Trump supporters I see on Facebook just have this general anger that things are wrong and they think he'll make them right. Immigrants, blacks, liberals, GLBT, Muslims, Hispanics, the "politically correct" are just a collection of bogeymen that Trump will vanquish. They have this frightening fervor that he'll bring back what they think they lost, and will do so no matter what the cost. They demand a scapegoat to punish and Trump will give them all they want. We may have to suspend Godwin's Law until 2017 just to discuss his appeal.

Trump is also getting some of the idiots who will support anybody who comes off as "anti establishment" and"against the status quo".
One of his biggest boosters here admits he supports Trump because he a "disruptive force in politics" and will "Shake up the system".
IMHO people who support somebody for those motives,regardless of what he preaches, are immature,juvenile,idiots.

As much as I despire Trump,I would want to get a more reliable source then Ivana before accepting that Hitler's speeches story.

So he wants to depress wages in the USA so that he can have his own products manufactured here instead of China?

It takes a certain kind of ignorance to not realize that Trump is a hypocrite and has no real foundation of ideology other than to make himself wealthy.
 
I'm pretty sure that Trump's "products" -- American real estate assets -- were manufactured in the USA.

What conditions would make America envied by other countries?

Specifically, what conditions do you think Trump sees as necessary and sufficient to make other countries envious of the U.S.A.
 
Typical Trump Supporters want MTV to be Lawrence Welk, Patti Page, Pat Boone (the real one not the weird old guy), Guy Lombardo, Giselle McKenzie, and Ethel Merman and the Elvis they knew and loved.
Oops, and Liberace 'cause he damn straight wasn't gay - that was all lies - and he plays so purty!!!
