Who is living it according to the Koran? the fast majority that does not kill in the name of Allah, or those that do kill in the name of Allah?

We here in Australia at the moment have a live sheep export market that exports to Middle East mainly muslim countries. Animal welfare agencies have shown film where the sheep are sold in an open market, bundled into a boot of a car, sometimes with broken limbs and driven to gawd knows where.
The welfare of the animal is the furthermost thing on their minds.
Slitting the throat of an animal is their way of making sure there's no blood left in the carcass. The only way to assure that happens is to prolong the heart pumping out all the blood as long as possible. It is not instant death, far from it.

What impeccable logic: Because some Muslim ranchers in Australia abuse their animals, a community center with a mosque in it should not be built near the corner of W. Broadway and Park place in NYC.

Is it really that hard for you to understand that Islam is not a monolithic entity in which every single member has the exact same unchanging views as every other member? Stoning people for crimes such as adultery is barbaric, but no one in the U.S. supports that. American Muslims do not hate America; they have not devoted their lives to the destruction of the West; they did not celebrate when the Twin Towers came down; they do not sit around and plot the destruction of Israel.

Surely you can understand that there are good Australians and bad Australians, that there are good Christians and bad Christians, that there are good Manchester United fans and bad Manchester United fans; why cannot you not see that there are good Muslims and bad Muslims?
