Isn't it weird that the fat clown waited until the last minute to start this investigation, especially since he constantly calls the NYT fake new providers.

There is a lot of first amendment protection, especially for "political speech" (unfortunately that may even when what is said is a blatant lie).

Not only would they have to prove the statement was wrong (that part is easy, although Johnson might have some way to weasel out of that), but they would probably have to prove actual damages, and that the statement was done with malice, that he knew it was wrong, etc.

Democrats may have looked at the chance of success, and the harm that would come from losing and decided it wasn't worth it.

They also have the knowledge that none of this ranting will save Johnson after the midterms.

So on the one hand being Muslim raises questions about your loyalty to the USA, on the other taking massive donations from AIPAC is fine.
 
Trump: Who the hell wants to watch football? It’s boring as hell! The NFL should go back to a thing where you kick the ball and people get the ball. It’s so unglamorous what they have done. They have no right to ruin football by dong ◊◊◊◊ like that.
