Trump's Second Term

One problem, which people who don’t understand or care about sport dismiss, is with contact sports like boxing and various codes of football, women are in disproportionate danger of injury from players who were born men and have greater, on average, physical strength.
I can't understand why this is an issue for national politics. It should be left to the individual sports organisations. And in any case, I think that it could be solved by focusing less on gender, and more on hormone levels. Just have classes for various hormone levels like boxing has classes for weight.

I do have to wonder what he thinks he's saying here...
Indeed. He hasn't realised that it means that he is not above the law. He probably thinks that if these "low IQ people" thinks the president is not above the law, then they must be wrong, because he knows in his heart that he is, in fact, above the law, and he has bought his own Supreme Court to prove it!

It is the story of Trump's life - he never wins his court cases.
He has lived his life fighting court cases and thrives on it. Usually he's able to bully the other party to give in. As a businessman he would pick on the little guy. As president he used his presidential powers and corrupt administration to win. The other media outlets submitted did so for business reasons, not because he had a winnable case.

President Trump on Saturday strongly criticized his former lawyer, Alina Habba Mildon, saying it was “totally obnoxious and outrageous” for her to enter into a $50 million deal for work with a billionaire Venezuelan family seeking a pardon from the president.

Mrs. Mildon, while working as a senior adviser at the Justice Department, signed on last year as an extraordinarily well-compensated general counsel for a company started by the daughter of Julio Herrera Velutini, who was granted the pardon by Mr. Trump weeks later.

At a Halloween party on Saturday at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla., Mr. Trump tore into Mrs. Mildon when asked about the contract, calling it “not acceptable.”

“I thought it was terrible,” he told reporters. “I told her, and I said, ‘I don’t want her paid.’ I thought we had somebody speak to the people that did it, and she used her relationship to do that. And it was far too much.”

IOW he didn't get his cut.

Judge dismisses Trump's lawsuit against Wall Street Journal over Epstein birthday book.

A US judge has thrown out President Donald Trump's $10bn (£7.4bn) lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, ruling the suit was "grasping at straws".

Trump had sued the media outlet's parent company Dow Jones and its leader Rupert Murdoch last year after it reported on a letter allegedly written by Trump to disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as part of a birthday book in 2003, before Epstein was charged with sex crimes.

Trump has denied writing or signing the letter, which included suggestive language and a drawing of the outline of a woman's body.

Judge Darrin Gayles threw out the case, finding the suit runs counter to the First Amendment, which protects freedom of the press.

Between that and the BBC case spinning out of his control the Oval Office must be like the end of the Goodies 'Bun Fight at the O.K. Tea Rooms'

At the moment all we have is the unverified allegations of the TACO lawsuit and the unverified allegations of a fired ex-staffer who's sounding more like an Amy Johnson than anybody else. And the NYT ran with it because of their unrequited love for TACO.

I wouldn't presume to assume the allegations are anywhere near true until we see something substantive. Remember extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
You're one step behind. My comments are primarily directed at the second line in the Narcissist's Prayer:

It didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, it wasn't my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

You're also reduced to mouthing slogans you don't seem to understand. The idea that it's "extraordinary" for a Democratic Senate campaign to resort to a classic dirty trick betrays an epistemic closure that suggests you're not on speaking terms with reality.
