My memory could be wrong, but I seem to remember that, after Nixon's death, one of his staffers said that he was wandering the White House halls drunk at about 1 a.m. screaming that he was going to nuke North Korea. Henry K. ordered the Football to be hidden after that.

Went off on a tangent on how his doctors wouldn’t save someone suffering from a heart attack at his rallies.
