Because the US democracy is so old it is flawed compared to more modern representative Parliamentary democracies and voting systems.

Historically, the US has always promoted dictatorships over democracies as long as they are not communist in flavor.

As touched on before... the issue would more be the ramping up of the assaults on democracies coming from the US and the support for corruption and authoritarian rule.

Solving? Trump's solutions to the problems that he causes tend to be more akin to just slapping a bandaid onto a deep cut that he inflicted. I see you've presented a better source on whether that's a George Washington quote or not. Oh, wait...you haven't. By the way, the reddit source I gave the link to included the below which you'd have seen if you'd bothered to look at it before jumping in with your criticism:

I heard J.D. Couch on The View this morning touting how gas prices have come down from $120 a barrel to $80 a barrel. However, before Trump started bombing Iran, the price per barrel was about $70. So, he's bragging about per barrel cost still being higher than before Trump's war skyrocketed them to $120+.
