Nowhere in the video does it actually say that whoever allegedly voted in her name voted for Democrats. And the image of the screen with the alleged data is too blurry to be able to read it in the video.

A number of possibilities:

• The "data" has been faked.
• She's knowingly lying.
• She's affiliated with the group presenting this
• She did vote but doesn't remember.
• She's an outright idiot who can be coerced.
• Several or all of the above.

I thought that at first, but the claim was that she had never voted until Trump. I still haven't any idea if someone can see *whether* they voted.

In many states, it is possible to determine whether your ballot was counted.

However the claim that it was Democrats who voted in her name. Surely the record would be that she voted in her name?

If her ballot was counted, then her state believed she was the one who submitted that ballot. If she truly knows she did not vote, but her state believes she did, then the most likely explanations are (1) someone she knows stole her mail-in ballot and submitted it in her name or (2) someone impersonated her when voting in person. Even if either of those things is what really happened, the only way she could know the fraudulent votes were cast by Democrats is by knowing who committed the voter fraud, which raises the question of why she is bleating about it on X instead of reporting the fraud to her state's legal authorities.

There are several other problems with her claim. She says, for example, that she voted for Trump in 2020, that she has never voted in any presidential election other than 2020, but that "Democrats appear to have been voting in her name in the last three elections." My wife was a poll worker in the '20 and '24 elections. She was posted to a small, rural community here in Greenville County, South Carolina. In the '24 election in particular, she was shocked by the number of older people who said they were voting for the first time in their lives. Many were so ignorant of the electoral system that they didn't understand why there were names other than Harris and Trump on the ballot. She was alarmed by how many appeared to be functionally illiterate, needing help to follow the simple instructions to use the ballot, and getting frustrated that there was only so much help the poll workers were allowed to give. She overhead enough to be convinced that a lot of them were there because they'd bought into the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ about the '20 election being stolen.

Even our local parish council election (they look after the local park and a few other things like that) had a 32% turnout, which I thought was pretty high for such a minor post.

Both candidates were independents although the winner does have a history of being a Tory.

Thank you to our great Secret Service and Law Enforcement for the swift and professional action taken this evening against a gunman near the White House, who had a violent history and possible obsession with our Country's most cherished structure. Surely the facts that neither attack came anywhere near succeeding, and that the measures already in place in the absence of his billion-dollar boondoggle were sufficient to prevent their success, show that the thing isn't as necessary or important as he's trying to claim? I mean, no "safe and secure space" is going to prevent crazy people from trying to do crazy things unless you always stay away from them inside it- is that his intent, to build a, let's call it a "bunker," to insulate (and isolate) himself completely from the people who are paying for it?

Indeed. It is, one supposes, possible to vote in the place of someone you know is registered but not intending to vote, but in order to get away with it you'd have to pretend to be that person, and that would include the party affiliation if that's included in the registration at all (it is in Connecticut, is not in Vermont).
