Trump Officials Move Into Military Residences in D.C. Area

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth moved into a home at Fort McNair traditionally reserved for the Army’s vice chief of staff.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and others also now live in military housing.

Kristi Noem, the homeland security secretary, lives in “a government representation facility” owned by the Coast Guard.

Daniel P. Driscoll, the Army secretary, has also moved into military housing, as has the Navy secretary, John Phelan

I thought this article in the New York Times was pretty good at showing how China played Trump. He is simply outclassed.

By withholding soybean purchases and rare-earth exports, China extracted relief from U.S. tariffs and delayed export controls, without conceding much in return.

Mr. Xi also seemed to grasp what Mr. Trump needed, a deal that he could sell as a victory at home. The outcome allowed Mr. Trump to claim a win for American farmers and companies, even though China had largely restored the status quo by agreeing to buy soybeans and to hold off on further restricting the export of rare earths.

This is the story the right say in the UK as an excuse to cut benefits. It just gets spent on cigarettes and booze .

That I could believe.

Not because xi was so intimidated that he couldn't look Trump straight in the face. He probably thought Trump was such a sucker and idiot that if he looked him in the face he would break out laughing.
 
They aren't going to restart the payments is my guess.
