Which is what I alluded to?It's a similar stalling tactic to the one they used to prevent Obama appointing a Supreme Court judge until Trump could do it instead, so they know it works.
November 2026, in case I wasn’t clear.I’m wondering if Mike Johnson is refusing to swear in the newly-elected Arizona congresswoman, continually stalling, Merrick Garland Supreme Court style, until next November, while they meanwhile feverishly work to gerrymander enough states to gain enough seats to ensure they easily maintain control of the house, so that the congresswoman’s currently-needed vote to release the Epstein files becomes worthless.
And that, my friends, is one dilly of a sentence!
Nobody knows more about hot air than me.Because we know how well it goes when rulers make technical decisions about military equipment that they are unqualified to understand. You end up with the Maus. Or trying to force a jet fighter into a bomber.
I wish that were true.
But never underestimate the willingness of gop voters to forgive even the worst transgressions.
Nixon almost got impeached and Ford pardoned him, but after only a single term of Carter in power, voters gave power back to the republicans.
After bush jr. Started the Iraq war and left power with the country in deep recession, less than a decade later they gave the country over to a racist con artist.
And after Trump had left the country with thousands of unnecessary deaths and tried to overturn an election, they voted him back into power, because of eggs or something stupid.
Yeah, Trump might leave the country in shambles, and it might boost the Democrats for a few years, but eventually all the destruction he caused (and all republican efforts to enable him) will be forgotten because "some Democrat somewhere didn't say Merry Christmas and as a result we need to give power back to the people who are trying to start a civil war"

It's true, animals hate him. Remember the footage of the eagle attacking him? Or that YouTube video where the cat is first shown photos of Biden and Obama, and then hisses furiously when shown Drumpf? Always listen when an animal tells you someone is a bad person. They can tell.
How can we honor Trump with the Nobel Peace Prize without honoring Trump with the Nobel Peace Prize?
Of course, it happened. That he doesn't know her name is immaterial.
Trump doesn't remember the names of anybody else, and he doesn't give a damn about them.
Machado, who won the prize, has dedicated it to him!
She is a big Trump fan, and it couldn't be more in his honor than this!
With a short video (28 sec.) where Machado promises to move the Venezuelan embassy in Israel to Jerusalem to show support for Israel.
That Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize Committee sure knows how to pick'em!![]()
Norwegian Peace Council Will Not Celebrate María Corina Machado’s Nobel Peace Prize (Orinoco Tribune, Oct 25, 2025)
The Norwegian Peace Council announced that it will not organize this year’s traditional torchlight procession through downtown Oslo on the day the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded due to its disagreement with the choice of Venezuelan far-right politician María Corina Machado as the winner.
The organization, which brings together 17 Norwegian pacifist organizations and some 15,000 activists, declared on Friday, October 24, that it made this decision because its members “do not feel that this year’s winner is in line with the fundamental values of the Norwegian Peace Council.”

The Argentinian human rights defender, professor, and visual artist Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1980, declared in an open letter that he found the choice questionable. “In fact, I am not aware of any activity that she has undertaken on behalf of the people. On the contrary, she always asked the US to intervene with troops in Venezuela,” Esquivel remarked.
Crazy how stupid this thing is.Generators
Trump: "I said, 'You can build your own electric generating sources,' and honestly some of the people in this room, they're building electric generators that are so far beyond anything that's ever been built before. They're using nuclear, they're using oil and gas, they're using coal as a backup."
I am guessing some species and environment aren't going to do too well.
Burgum: "There's a whole industry that's been weaponized to try to use regulatory attacks -- whether it's endangered species, whether it's the NEPA environmental protections -- to try to stop building infrastructure in this country."
