Trump's Second Term

🚨🚨Democrats are doing this to appease their far Left Marxist base —because they are more afraid of THEM than the American people.

I've said something similar before, I will give him a billion zillion kajillion dollars if he can provide an accurate definition of "Marxist" without needing to look it up.

Calling it now: he'll have a medal room in the White House where he'll proudly display the hundreds of medals he's earned awarded himself and bullied military servicemen into giving him.

"This is the North Korean Medal of Service, this one's Hero of the Russian Federation, this is the Iron Cross .."

... And we're not going to deduct anything because you came in to listen to your commander—I'd like to be an admiral.

I think I'm not even going to fail to pay you what you're due, like I usually do to everyone who works for me. Although it might help if you make me an honorary admiral, you know, with an impressive uniform and maybe some gold medals. That would help you for sure.

He's turning being the commander in chief into a protection racket. He has literally no shame.

Trump: I ended eight wars in eight months, the most of any president in history. No president that we know has ever ended any war.
"No president that we know..." includes what Trump knows. Trump only knows what he wants to know. Therefore the statement is true.

As someone helpfully pointed out, Teddy Roosevelt literally got the Nobel Peace Prize for the work he did to end the Russo-Japanese war. Trump does not want to know that. So he does not know that.

Yeah, but you could ship your goods to one side of the tunnel, drive them through the tunnel, then ship them to where they needed to be...
I had that thought about a Douglas Adams style story, where someone has the bright idea of saving money by shipping all the construction materials to each end of the Bering tunnel. Then after many years when the tunnel opens, they realise they have an even bigger task ahead, building highways from each end of the tunnel to anywhere useful.

Yeah, I'm sure that's one of many topics his handlers know not to bring up around grampa, lest they set him off on another rant.

I still remember my first 3 (mostly it is 3) words of my cognitivectest. Baby, village and kitchen. A month ago I had three. One was mountain. 3 unrelated nouns.

“Apple Watch Penny” was my first. Super easy since I wear an Apple Watch. Don’t recall more recent ones. At 76, I’m pretty sure I might struggle with 5 words.

I must admit I get a little nervous taking the test. I’ve noticed a subtle decline in certain cognitive abilities, such as doing math in my head, short term memory*, that sort of thing. Pilots can get a certain level of “brain fade” flying at too high an altitude without supplemental oxygen for too long, and it kind of feels like that. As I said, subtle, but undeniable.

As an aside, my online chess rating has been in a gradual decline for a while now. Maybe related?

*Old joke: “As I get older, I’m beginning to believe in the hereafter. Like, when I go to the garage, and then wonder ‘What am I here after?’”

Because we know how well it goes when rulers make technical decisions about military equipment that they are unqualified to understand. You end up with the Maus. Or trying to force a jet fighter into a bomber.
I commend the YouTube channel "Type 56: The story of China's army" on the topic of what happens to weapons procurement when politics commands that any further copying of reliable Soviet designs is humiliating and therefore forbidden, and that precision engineering is a decadent imperialist luxury.

Likewise the YouTuber, "Adam Something" who, when he's not talking about tech bros inventing the train but in a bad way, likes to talk about "smooth-brained dictators" and massive architectural projects.

To be fair, Baltic Fleet Commander Zinovy Rozhestvensky was probably the man most responsible for ending the Russo-Japanese War.

I wonder if he could even venture to guess how many Marxists there are in the US. After all, the thinks those guys are holding the entire nation to ransom.

Has anyone checked under the beds?

BREAKING - A California sheriff is blowing the whistle on how Gavin Newsom steals elections, saying foreign nationals are voting through an online “honor system” where anyone can click a box saying they’re not lying and get mailed ballots.

Ooo! Can I, being an Australian, register, sheriff? According to you, I can. And if i can, so can all of the rest of the world with an internet connection. Think that will work? And if not, why not?

Just look at the sad history of the British SA80 and how it was sabotaged to make Maggie's sell off of the Royal Armaments Factory look more attractive to buyers.
