Also, it's gotten to the point where I can't even tell what the adults told him in the first place. Earlier you could at least sort of work out what they'd said that he had gone on to completely misunderstand, the way little kids will embarrass themselves by repeating things they heard adults say, without actually understanding them.

Massive vaccines twice the size of a jar? That's just word salad.
