Trump's Second Term

Trump responds to the killing of Iryna Zarutska:

“We have to be viscous… it’s the only thing they understand.”

In a 2-minute Oval Office-style video, Trump calls for brutal force against repeat violent offenders; framing it as war, not justice.

If he wants to get vicious with people who kill Ukrainians I can point one out to him, no problem.

Leavitt: "The Daily Signal published a piece with three separate signature analysts who said this was absolutely not the president's authentic signature. We have maintained that position all along. The president did not write this letter. He did not sign this letter."
Appleby: "Never believe anything until it's been officially denied."

Trump is no doubt relieved by this horrid murder on the bus. Sorry orange-man, it won't work. The tipping point was reached when the birthday book came out last night. Thank goodness for us someone other than the DOJ or the FBI held that book and all the Epstein files. Because if there wasn't those files would have been shredded months ago and we'd have no chance of seeing them.

Some of you may remember how many people wondered aloud why Nixon hadn't destroyed the tapes.

Nixon, according to some at the time, thought he needed to have those tapes to write his memoirs. I'd guess that at some point a decade ago when Trump and Epstein parted ways Trump may have been concerned about Epstein blackmailing him. But Trump may have felt too powerful to worry about a threat from Epstein. Who knows? It could have been any number of things that resulted in Epstein's files not being secure in the offices of the DOJ or the FBI. Whoops!

Trump's loss, our gain. And now with the voting US public right on the edge and the news media not completely controlled by the fascist state, we have a chance to stop this orange monster before he starts a civil war.

We still have to worry about JD Vance and a world war, but I'm going with step 1, just getting Trump stopped.

Can I amend your task to "Step 1, just getting Trump's administrative team eradicated first"? Trump on his own without his Project 2025/Peter Thiel buddies is just a loudmouth sack of ◊◊◊◊, now with added Epstein taint and the probability of an early death. They are the driving force behind just about all the badness happening to the USA right now. They influence and control what Donny sees and what he says. They are the true American enemy.

Attacking your wife is a made up crime.

Never believe a woman, she's just trying to undermine Donald.

Q: Yesterday, Trump expressed frustration about 'things that take place in the home they call crime.' He said, 'if a man has a little fight with the wife, they say this is a crime.'

Leavitt: What Trump is saying is that these crimes will be made up and reported as a crime to undermine the great work that the federal task force is doing to reduce crime in DC

Good thing that they are helping women by creating safe spaces with their anti trans crusade, at least they can hide in a public toilet when their husband is attacking them, as in their own homes they'll be fair game.

Protecting women, the MAGA style.

From the New Yorker article :The part of the book that caused the most controversy concerns Trump’s divorce from his first wife, Ivana. Hurt obtained a copy of her sworn divorce deposition, from 1990, in which she stated that, the previous year, her husband had raped her in a fit of rage. In Hurt’s account, Trump was furious that a “scalp reduction” operation he’d undergone to eliminate a bald spot had been unexpectedly painful. Ivana had recommended the plastic surgeon. In retaliation, Hurt wrote, Trump yanked out a handful of his wife’s hair, and then forced himself on her sexually. Afterward, according to the book, she spent the night locked in a bedroom, crying; in the morning, Trump asked her, “with menacing casualness, ‘Does it hurt?’ ” Trump has denied both the rape allegation and the suggestion that he had a scalp-reduction procedure. Hurt said that the incident, which is detailed in Ivana’s deposition, was confirmed by two of her friends.
