◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ Trump, how does he work?Trump on China: They have to give us magnets. If they don't, we have to charge them a 200% tariff or something… Nobody needed magnets until they convinced everybody 20 years ago "Let's all do magnets."
Bread and circuses. Ok, just circuses.
I wonder what he's talking about but getting the subject wrong. Li batteries?Yes, if we'd been obsessed with magnets we'd have been distracted from the important things, like global navigation and discovering electricity!
Very probably!Eccles, though.
You really think he knows the difference? I don’t.I wonder what he's talking about but getting the subject wrong. Li batteries?

How a Top Secret SEAL Team 6 Mission Into North Korea Fell Apart
The 2019 operation, greenlit by President Trump, sought a strategic edge. It left unarmed North Koreans dead.
There's a lot more in the link, but:
TL/DR: In 2019, Schitler sent top-secret Navy Seals mission to plant listening device in North Korea. Mission failed, NK people killed. Could have been a much biger disaster.
Whew! Glad to see you are OK, dudalb.(...)More and more I am convinced we will see wide dpread political violence in the US.

But seriously, how many more government statisticians is Trump going to have to fire before the economy improves?

Democracy - successful democracy - is utterly dependant on enough voters taking the time to properly inform themselves about the people and policies they are voting for. For whatever reason, in more and more countries in the world, voters are choosing not to do that work, but to instead happily and mindlessly swallow whichever lies most appeal to their prejudices. They are thereby allowing themselves to be manipulated into electing fascists. That's when democracy fails.
What matters more is whether the voters who democratically elected him wanted him to act as a traditional president or as an absolute monarch. So far I see little evidence that they have any problem with his actions.
I also have to comment that the opinion you are speakking about is a wonderful excuse for sitting on your butt and doing nothing about a critical situation. That's harsh. We are in a new wave of far-right populism gaining votes, and the climate crisis is, well, a crisis, but we'll solve the latter and survive the former. Eventually we'll all look like Brazillians anway, and there will be nothing left for racists to argue over. Sure, they'll find some other minority group to use as scapegoats (although both trans and gay people will probably be normalized enough by then that it won't be them, but they'll come up with something).
Other than that, in countless ways we're doing way better than only 50-100 years ago. Certain history lessons in I'm Starting to Worry About the Black Box of Doom drove that home for me. Humanity is in for some hard times, but in the long run we'll be fine.
I just hope General Galba shows up before long.......Fight event announced on WH lawn
