Gosh. What sort of emergency presidential order did it take to allow the FBI to operate in Washington DC? This is surely a game changer. Criminals have had it too easy for too long. Now the FBI is in town, and has been unleashed to <checks notes> carry on doing its job as usual, things are really going to start to happen.

Trillions of Dollars are being taken in on Tariffs, which has been incredible for our Country, its Stock Market, its General Wealth, and just about everything else. It has been proven, that even at this late stage, Tariffs have not caused Inflation, or any other problems for Country, other than massive amounts of CASH pouring into our Treasury's coffers. Also, it has been shown that, for the most part, Consumers aren't even paying these Tariffs, it is mostly Companies and Governments, many of them Foreign, picking up the tabs. But David Solomon and Goldman Sachs refuse to give credit where credit is due. They made a bad prediction a long time ago on both the Market repercussion and the Tariffs themselves, and they were wrong, just like they are wrong about so much else. I think that David should go out and get himself a new Economist or, maybe, he ought to just focus on being a DJ, and not bother running a major Financial Institution.

I think that particular catastrophic outcome won't happen because the 2A guys with all the guns are sitting at home thinking "This is fine", and feeling certain the leopard won't eat their face.

Likely so, but let us not forget that a large part of the second Amendment revival came from the Black Panthers, and while the majority of those now touting it are likely Trumpers who don't read too good, they'd better remember that that amendment is about the right of the people, not about the right people.

I'm pretty sure he'd welcome the National Guard on the streets of Charlotte to control the more "uppity" members of the community. DC may be the template for a wider implementation of martial law in strategic areas.

But having guns is one thing. Using them, being capable and willing, having stockpiles of ammo etc. is another. I guess most preppers are not really on the left side in the U.S.
