Much discussion in the media about why trump decided to bomb Iran, what his aims are, what his expectations are. trump probably couldn't tell you. Good to remember this, from late May:

He really is stupid. Any successes he might have experienced in his lifetime are purely accidental. His idiot cultists have insured that this nation will suffer for years, and may never recover from his ineptitude.

Today is the outbreak of the second 12-day war. One of a series which may go on forever. Trump will end each one, and yet never be recognised with a Nobel peace prize for the several seconds of peace he cumulatively achieved.

The moment any one of them step foot in Iran it'll be a flat out race between all the the anti-ayatollah factions and all the pro-ayatollah factions to see who gets the honour of lynching them. They're universally hated in the way the Romanovs could manage periously.
