Where did you get the idea I was trying to minimise anything when I was asking what the scale of the Iranian overenrichment was? You seem to think I was insinuating an answer. No, I was asking a question of a poster who advanced some numbers because I didn't know the answer.

Of course the Iranians aren't enriching uranium beyond what's needed for a power reactor "in good faith". They're either doing it as a bargaining chip (and gambling the West will stop short of an all-out attack) or they're genuinely rushing to make a bomb as they think they can get it done before they're stopped.

At this stage, North Korea was still ten years away from their first credible nuke.
