Too bad. An interviewer notes that Trump has compared Buttigieg to Alfred E. Neuman (Mad magazine's unflattering cartoon character), and asks how he feels about it. He replies that in the spirit of raising the dialogue he takes credit for inspiring Trump to make a literary reference.

Also --friendly reminder there was a full-blown global pandemic during his last term, which due to his mismanagement killed a million Americans, and his cult still adores him. I don't care about trumpkins either, but I also doubt more suffering will change their minds. They'll blame economic downturns, lack of disaster response, etc. on Biden and keep worshiping their Führer.

And I'd like to point out that not everyone in the areas likely to be struck by a Cat 5 are political opponents. I spend most of July through November here on the MS Gulf Coast in a kind of low-grade fever of apprehension, constantly checking NOAA's National Hurricane Center for updates that I'm no longer even certain I will be able to rely on for accuracy. And it's really the frosting on that cake to see that some dickhead has decided, MAGA-like, that everybody living in a particular area can be lumped together as a group deserving of the worst that can happen so he can feel some cheap thrill of political vindication.

Also a 25% import tax "at least" on iPhones not manufactured in America.

I have long ago informed Tim Cook of Apple that I expect their iPhone's that will be sold in the United States of America will be manufactured and built in the United States, not India, or anyplace else. If that is not the case, a Tariff of at least 25% must be paid by Apple to the U.S.
