"Foreign" movies are woke. They talk about scary things that happened in the world since 1955 (the perfect year, according to the Supreme Court). Gay people, women opening restaurants, etc. My state's Trumpinista's managed to evict the Sundance Film Festival for its purported wokeness, thereby eliminating one of our most lucrative tourist events.

That's communist talk! Don't you realise the tariffs have to reap enough to fund tax cuts? If only billionaires buy all the overpriced Chinese dolls then they'll pay all the tariffs. That would accidentally make it a progressive tax! Unthinkable.

The poor must continue to buy Chinese-made stuff at Trump's new inflated prices. It's their patriotic duty.

Barbie maker Mattel says it will put up the prices of some of its toys in the US as President Donald Trump's tariffs increase its costs.

The firm also says it will cut the number of products it makes in China for the American market.

The finance chief of footwear firm Skechers, David Weinberg, told investors: "The current environment is simply too dynamic from which to plan results with a reasonable assurance of success."

And Procter & Gamble – which makes Ariel laundry detergent, Head & Shoulders shampoo and Gillette shaving products – said it was considering changes to its prices to make up for the extra cost of materials sourced from China and other places.
