Trump's Second Term

And now here comes Lebensborn!

Trump administration looking at $5,000 'baby bonus' to incentivize public to have more children

The White House has been fielding proposals aimed at persuading people to marry and have children, an effort being pushed by outside groups focused on increasing the nation's birth rate after years of decline.

One such proposal that has been pitched to White House advisers is a $5,000 "baby bonus" to every American mother after she gives birth.

"Sounds like a good idea to me," President Donald Trump said Tuesday when asked about a $5,000 incentive for new mothers.

Only white, married Christian mothers of course, no doubt.

This stupid ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ who is gutting the government with a chainsaw, wants to hand out billions every year like this! Now THAT'S fiscal responsibility!

Leavitt on Trump's motivations for installing massive American flags at the White House:
"Look, the president is a real estate developer at heart, and he's always looking for ways to improve the White House complex. Not for him, but for future generations, for future presidents. He has some fun ideas."
Maybe he just wants more and larger flags to hump. Ya know...since Melania won't touch him.

President Donald Trump “got a scare” from CEOs of the nation’s largest big box retailers that their shelves could soon be empty as a result of his draconian tariff policy announced on April 2, according to a report from Axios. As a result, the White House appears to be pivoting to a much softer position on trade.

Markets rallied on Tuesday as investors learned that the Trump administration was pivoting to a softer position on the controversial tariff policy, which cratered 401ks and led to talk of an inevitable recession.

At the root of this news were comments made by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in a private speech to JP Morgan, during which he admitted an ongoing trade war with China was not sustainable.

Herr Schitler: "Nah, they'll Be manufacturing everything in America in 2 weeks!"

Did anyone notice today the change from "90 deals in 90 days" to "we have 18 proposals on paper"

Yep.

American companies that manufacture products in China already have plans in the works to stop selling to the USA.

How do I know? Wife told me.

She develops new products for a MAJOR company.

Why would this cause the shelves to be empty at Target and Walmart?
See above comment by me.

Almost all ◊◊◊◊ sold in these stores is made in China, and companies that make stuff in China have decided to literally boycott American markets as long as the 175% tariff is the law.

something like a towel that cost $13 will now be like $25 or shoes that cost $40 will now cost $70. people will still buy the towels and shoes.

it's certainly going to effect demand, people will be choosing between towels and shoes instead of buying both, for example.

i think the biggest immediate problem is companies over buying, having too much inventory, and then months from now overall demand tanking. and there's a bunch of worrying things going on unrelated to the tariffs that will also be crippling demand, like aggressively sending student loan borrowers to collections, layoffs, rising interest rates, and large amounts of benefit interference that are going to compound all of that

$40 shoes now facing a 175% tariff now cost $110.

That sounds like mild additional evidence that the hype about welfare queens wasn't about the money.

With that said, I feel like poking at a somewhat more information dense link.

Why Trump and his creepy minions want white women to make more babies

A bunch of things are touched on in that link, but a really short summation of a major issue at hand is -

Indeed, a Brookings Institution study estimated that it costs $310,000 to raise a child from birth to age 17. That’s nothing for Musk. But for most Americans, the math is tough.

Republicans, of course, are doing a bunch of things to drive that cost up. The $5K would just be yet another grand gesture in the foreground as they drive costs up by much more than $5K with their background actions.

From your link:

Another proposal floating around in Trumpland: granting a “National Medal of Motherhood” to women with six or more children.

Sounds like the Cross of Honour of the German Mother:

The decoration was conferred from 1939 until 1945[5] in three classes: bronze, silver, and gold,[2][6] to Reichsdeutsche mothers who exhibited probity, exemplary motherhood, and who conceived and raised at least four children in the role of a parent.[7][8]

They'll probably mimic the Nazi medal, just replacing the swastika with Herr Schitler's face.

So, what science will still be outlawed in the US soon?
The Trump administration is already deleting data concerning climate chance see: this article by the BBC
And any social science that indicates any sexuality except heterosexual is getting a similar treatment.
Not to mention the RFK crusade against any form of healthcare except 'natural'.

So what is next? Geology? After all it goes against the bible.
Genetics? After all, it goes against the bible.
Psychology? After all, pray the problems away is better
Economics? After all, they nay-say the lord and saviour of the US
Anything that involves any critical thinking at all?
