I got a sick feeling that we are looking at a total disaster as far as national secruity goes. This will end in US bodies coming home in body bags thanks to the total incomptnece of the Trump team.
Tump does not care about competence, all he cares about are hainvg people in office who will do whatever he says without question.
This will not end well, makr my words.
Putin and XI are rejoicing over this fiasco.
And Vance has shown his total ignorance of foreign affairs with his hatred of Europe.
 
The bad thing for Trump about the intellignece scandal, is that he is now wrecking his relationshi0 with a basic GOP pro defense consintunecy. It inow about basic competence. This is not going to go away, despiet Trump and MAGA media trying to hand wave it away. it is not about policy it is about basic competenct.

Will Cain is just doing what cult members do: defend the cult at all costs.

You know Himes is making a point that Cain knows is damaging when Himes is answering Cain's question and Cain starts talking over him. And especially so when Cain feigns indignation.

Quite impressed by Sen. Ossof's questioning. Haven't seen him before. He seems really competent, personable and authoritative.

It's all Biden's fault. Trump inherited an economy in freefall - the economic growth in 2024 was as a result of Trump's policies in 2020 - and tariffs haven't had the chance to turn it around.

Yup, that's why he starred in a TV Reality show and also ran for president. He's an egomaniac, but that's just my opinion.

The thing about due process is that it's the foundational doctrine to the rule of law. You can't dispense with due process and still say you are a government of laws and not of people. Selectively suspending due process for any reason (up to and including the excuse that you're just rounding up too many people to care about being careful) threatens the rule of law for everyone.

I'm involved around the edges of the Irish legal system, due process is bearly always describing the rights of an accused person. Homan is so thick he doesn't understand that he heavily impled that a murder victim was a suspected offender.
 
To no one's surprise, Dump is going after federal election laws.
Passports or other ID will be required, and no mail-in ballots arriving after Election Day will be accepted.

In other words, measures to make it (even) harder for the wrong people to vote in elections. Don't get me wrong, I find the fact that you don't need ID to vote in the US to be completely absurd (unless I've misunderstood how it works), but I'd find it a much better solution to make sure 'everyone' has ID than to only impose ID requirements.
