Trump's Second Term

They drove their Cybertrucks in a Mardi Gras parade. Then the crowd turned on them.

When the owners of two Cybertrucks were asked to participate in a Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans, they felt honored — but they didn't expect to leave with their vehicles damaged and costly repairs.

"It was not like any other Mardi Gras," Joshua Hazel told Business Insider in an interview, adding that the reaction he received from some in the crowd was "aggressive," "hateful," and "violent."

Hazel, who was driving the vehicle with his wife, said his Cybertruck windows were down when someone ran up to the vehicle and forcefully slang beads at its side. The beads hit his wife in the head, Hazel said.

"This guy just comes up with full force running from the crowd, and slings a handful of beads," Hazel said. "And they're, you know, there's some thick beads, very large beads in there, a handful of them, right at the side of the truck."

The truck's glass panel that covers the camera area was also shattered, he added.

How unfortunate. Oh well, round up the usual suspects!

Is the part participle of 'to sling' really 'slang' ?

My head says 'slung' but even that sounds a bit odd.

Still, I thought the cybertruck was supposed to be bulletproof? Just not beadproof I guess.

No, it's 'slung',and we're talking plastic beads like a child's dress up jewelry right?

So EVERY brown person FOREVER regardless of status is going to be deported somewhere because one of them did something bad once?
If that's the standard then they better start denying due process for a whole lot of white mother ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊.

The Trump administration is preparing to revoke legal status for many migrants who entered the United States under a Biden-era program, according to a source familiar with the planning, expanding the pool of people who could be deported.

The move is expected to affect migrants from Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, and Haiti who arrived during President Joe Biden’s term under a humanitarian parole program and were allowed to temporarily live and work in the US. More than 530,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans arrived to the US under the program.

How many athletes, footballers and fans arriving for the Olympics and World Cup will be detained and sent to jail do we think?

Not really, since in the US, Education is largely a matter for the state and local governments. The feds are secondary.
main funding for education comes from State and Local Taxes. The Feds just supplemnt it a little.
In fact the Department of Education is mainly advisorty.
If the Federalsti system agian, which a great many outside the US just do not understand.(This has nothing to do with the crap the Federalist Soceity peddles, a lot of which would have horrified hte original Federalstis like John Adams and Hamilton.
We understand it very well indeed, having a similar education setup ourselves. Here is part of our Federal Education mission:
It involves providing strategic direction, and advice to the Australian Government on education, including stewarding the government’s vision for reforming Australia’s education system.

Our work is wide-ranging and underpinned by research, evidence, and data, and involves working in partnership with stakeholders to deliver.

Please don't feel the USA is exceptional in everything. In many things, it is most definitely not.

Also, if you devolve everything to your states, you no longer have a "United" States, just 50 little tinpot countries.

Donald upset by a portrait.
people are telling him they are upset by it.
Good to see he's focusing on the important things.
I thought this was a joke post at first

Nobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves, but the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol, put up by the Governor, along with all other Presidents, was purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before. The artist also did President Obama, and he looks wonderful, but the one on me is truly the worst. She must have lost her talent as she got older. In any event, I would much prefer not having a picture than having this one, but many people from Colorado have called and written to complain. In fact, they are actually angry about it! I am speaking on their behalf to the Radical Left Governor, Jared Polis, who is extremely weak on Crime, in particular with respect to Tren de Aragua, which practically took over Aurora (Don't worry, we saved it!), to take it down. Jared should be ashamed of himself!
