Trump's Second Term

Why is the poster an ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊? The ◊◊◊◊ did they do wrong?
Just to be clear, I'm not talking about any poster here. But what did they do wrong? Seriously, you need to be told?
Doxxing and going to visit them is a threat?
Yes, doxing poses a very serious security threat. It can get people killed. You have heard of swatting, haven't you? And yes, the point of a former FBI agent visiting the home of someone responsible for firing them is to intimidate them. Saying this wasn't illegal, but how the ◊◊◊◊ can you not understand how uncivil that was?

Yes, explain it to me Oh Great Master of Skepticism and Ethics. I'm sure this will be a hoot.

I love your concern trolling. This would all be a bigger deal if any of this happened but it didn't. I should check the other threads and see if you were as up in arms about the doxxing that happened on the other side of the fence.

Just kidding, we both know the answer to that.

ETA: It's our right to know who is working on the federal system. I thought you guys were all about transparency and the only thing listed were their names. Seriously, you clutching your ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ pearls now that it's your side on the receiving end is hilarious.

I don't give a ◊◊◊◊ about civility and who said anything about "former" FBI? Was that in the tweet or something? Did I miss it?

Let me clue you in on something, your POTUS ◊◊◊◊◊◊ civility in the face and threw it in the river. It's gone. You guys ◊◊◊◊◊◊ it up and now Trump supporters neither deserve or are entitled to civility. ◊◊◊◊ every last one of them. Don't cry about civility when defending Trump, it's hypocritical. Not that Trump supporters are anything but.

I never said it was a big deal. I said the poster was an ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊. The world if full of ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊. It's not special or illegal to be an ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊. That doesn't make you not an ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ for staying within the law.

Not according to FBI agents who sued to stop the President from knowing who did what.
I don't give a ◊◊◊◊ about civility
I never said you had to.
and who said anything about "former" FBI? Was that in the tweet or something? Did I miss it?
Yes, it was in the tweet, and yes, evidently you missed it.

Im all for transparency but what exactly do you think he meant when he said dox them? Their names were already shared, there was a news story on their backgrounds. There is no doubt to anyone he meant dox address, which is not uncivilized, it's directly calling for harassment. There is no other reason.

He said "the fired fbi agents".

Right. No fan of doxxing personally. That said, there would be situations where this could be in the public interest. These people have unfettered access to government records and no clear security clearance. I don’t think that naming of the individuals is a problem.

The musing about FBI agents going after them is ◊◊◊◊◊◊.

But as you say, not criminal.

While we are on the subject of ◊◊◊◊◊◊ behaviour, if Musk recognizes that publishing people’s names and suggesting those people deserve some kind of retribution is bad, then it is all the more egregious that he behaves in that manner on a constant basis. Musk (and Trump) have extremely loud megaphones on which they make unsubstantiated claims about people being pedophiles, or accuse people of crimes with no evidence. Musk does this on a constant basis and is either oblivious to the security concerns that those people will have or, more likely, actively enjoys the distress he causes.
