When all the illegals are gone (they'll be gone in 8 months, right?) all those newly unemployed civil servants can get jobs tending each other's gardens in a virtuous circle. It's genius.

Holy crap...Trump is actually firing them? All the fake news I read has him offering them buyouts. Thanks for the heads up.

All those sub minimum wage jobs have already been taken by displaced DEI consultants who were forcibly ejected when their departments were axed. This explains why you see gaggles of dangerhairs out planting your kale and picking your avocados.

And for those less informed on such matters the capsule to bring them home has been docked at the ISS for several months, it launched with two rather than four crew specifically to do so, and Musk absolutely knows this because the capsule is a SpaceX Dragon! This is beyond absurd trolling on the part of Musk or sheer desperation to give Trump a 'win'. In fact bringing them home earlier than already planned would create serious issues since if they come back before the next crew launches there would only be one astronaut manning the US section of the ISS and their ride home is a Soyuz.
 
Everything is going according to plan. First week of Trump results in chaos. Just as they wanted. “Governmnet does not work.” If it did, it would be too expensive. Three million government workers are asked to quit. The sooner you do it, the more the severance pay.
We have a picture of one Trump cabinet member at work to achieve this noble goal.

I was ready for the lawlessness, the evil, the smashing of the administrative state, the mad grasping of power, etc. That I expected.

Was not expecting the incompetence to set in this early. The Reich-wing has been planning for this for years! Did they not once ask, “What would actually happen if we do X? How would that work?” I mean, they were supposed to have smart people thinking this stuff through this time around. What were the Project 2025 people actually doing? Now it is the same incompetent, destructive evil we had the first time around, just bigger.

Yep, and so now the big question is, what will be the Covid of this term only 10X worse? Will it be another virus, only 90% fatal? A foreign invasion, a 9/11 on a much larger scale? An asteroid? I can't wait to find out.... :oops:

I think it is neigh impossible to overestimate how convinced the Reich-wingers are that, deep down, every True AmericanTM agrees with everything they say and do, and will naturally help them achieve their goals against all rules, for the Benefit of The Nation. That only actual Demons would oppose their plans and ask them to apply laws to everyone, not just when and where it's convenient. That the sense and benefit of their policies are self-evident to any right-thinking man.

Sure there are smart MAGAs. People who have carefully read and studied their Orwell and Atwood, taking copious notes. People who have graduated from law school or studied mathematics. People who are quite intelligent and perceptive. People who take all those attributes and devote them to selfishness and evil.

Not sure what they are doing though. You have a known quantity like the Federal Government, years to plan its destruction, to prep laws and executive orders. And you end up with this? I mean its better than if they actually knew what they were doing, but I am surprised by how quickly its devolving...
